GoT Pedro Pascal Cast In Narcos, New Pablo Escobar Drama For Netflix
This could be pretty cool.
Pedro Pascal, or as I like to call him the Latin John Barrowman (Google him and you’ll probably get an idea why), was cast in one of Netflix’s new dramas called Narcos. Narcos is set around the time where drug cartels started to grow in power around the world, centered around the growing Colombian drug trade headed by the infamous Pablo Escobar played here by Brazilian actor Wagner Moura. Pascal, according to the Deadline report, will be playing Javier Pena, a Mexican DEA agent sent to Colombia to murder the drug lord.
Two actors of actual Latin American descent and considerable talent playing Latin American characters with some creative meat to them. That could be enough to get me to consider going toward Netflix in the future, even if it’s written by the guy who wrote Species II and directed by the guy behind the critically panned Robocop reboot. The power of Oberyn, everyone!
