12 Years A Slave has been hitting the movie festivals and creating quite the buzz. The movie is based on the true story of Solomon Northup (played by Chiwetel Ejiofor), a freeman tricked and kidnapped into slavery. The heartfelt movie produced by Brad Pitt and directed by Steve McQueen, includes an incredible cast with the likes of Brad Pitt, Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o, Alfre Woodard, Michael Fassbender, and Quvenzhané Wallis.
