Louisville Wins NCAA Championship; Kevin Ware Cuts The Net

Americans love a great story, and Americans love champions! Louisville Cardinals win the NCAA Championship with one of the most shocking stories in NCAA history. Sophomore Kevin Ware suffered a horrible open leg fracture against Duke, that left his coach and teammates in shock and tears. BUT his pain, his story, his selfless spirit gave his teammates another reason to fight…to win. Louisville beats Michigan Wolverines 82-76 in the finals.

Luke Hancock who prayed with Kevin Ware and kept him calm doing the injury, was especially inspired by Ware’s journey:
