Wow! I can’t believe people have really started a petition to get Kim Kardashian kicked off the air. My theory is: If you don’t like it; don’t watch it, but I guess this publicity stunt of a marriage isn’t sitting well with Americans. Before you think it’s some Right Wing Christian Conservative movement, the petition states:

There is no particular religious or political platform behind our disgust; we are just finally fed up.

Are you Fed Up with the Kardashians, too? Honestly, all I needed was the SNL spoof. But if you are tired of the message this reality show is sending, you now have a platform to voice your opinion. Read the rest petition when you continue…

Dear Sirs,

In a grass roots effort, we have collected over 4800 signatures for a petition asking E! Entertainment to remove the Kardashian suite of shows from their programming.   We feel that these shows are mostly staged and place an emphasis on vanity, greed, promiscuity, vulgarity and over-the-top conspicuous consumption.  While some may have begun watching the spectacle as mindless entertainment or as a sort of “reality satire,” it is a sad truth that many young people are looking up to this family and are modeling their appearance and behavior after them.  (I’ll remind you here that the Kardashian family fame largely started with a “leaked” sex tape.)   There is no particular religious or political platform behind our disgust; we are just finally fed up.

I can’t believe people are mad at Tyler Perry for hiring Kim Kardashian. Don’t you want Kim Kardashian to have a real job.
