MC Hammer Is A Tech Savvy Hustle Man…
“PLEASE HAMMER DON’T HURT EM!” (I have to yell that out whenever I think of him) Rapper turned actor turned pastor turned business entrepreneur MC Hammer has added another title onto his resume: Tech Business Man. Hammer recently attended the Web Summit 2.0, a conference about everything technology related, founded by Tim O’Reilly (no relation to political analyst and habitual line stepper Bill O’Reilly).
And apparently his new venture is having people asking if he’s coming for the big dogs. Google, huh? Check out what his new project is, after the jump…
Hammer is working with his partners at Alchemist MMA to develop a social search engine named Wiredoo. Wiredoo (currently in BETA, with a launch date projected for December 2011) is planning to take the user experience of the search engine up a notch:
…so say you were to enter the zipcode 90210. You would get the basic information returned from a normal query of any of those engines, but then you would also see what we call Related Content. And under Related Content you would get schools in that area…homes in that area…hospitals…
