Rihanna & Chris Brown To Cross Paths In Court & On R&B Charts

Chris Brown and Rihanna will forever be linked in some small way or another. Chris Brown’s song, No Bull, is #3 on the Billboard R&B Charts, and Rihanna’s song, What’s My Name, is at the #2 slot. Will Chris Brown’s No Bull take the #2 spot from Rihanna this week, or possibly jump to #1. Truth be told, I like both of these songs…

Meanwhile, Chris Brown has returned to court to ask that a restraining order be lifted, that orders the pop star to not go within 100 yards of Rihanna. Chris Brown and Rihanna are both slated to attend the Grammy’s and possibly perform. Chris Brown and lawyer, Mark Geragos, are hoping the ban can be lifted or modified, so that Brown can attend. However, that decision is up to Rihanna and her lawyer. So, Chris Brown’s fate is basically in Rihanna’s hands. Details when you continue…

Brown had a progress hearing at Los Angeles County Superior Court yesterday, and though Judge Patricia Schnegg applauded the R&B star for finishing his community service in “fine fashion”, she said she need to check with Rihanna’s attorneys about lifting the restraining order.

Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos said it could be a problem if the protective order was not lifted, and Judge Schnegg said she would not be opposed to lowering the order to do not annoy status. Either way, Brown will have to return to court when Rihanna’s legal team makes a decision on the matter. {Source}
