According To Rihanna, Blogs Are A Community Of People Who Hate Themselves

Rihanna had a lovely interview with Ed Lover where she talks about everything from getting waxed, to her relationship with Drake, her most hurtful rumors, to hating blogs and the people behind computers *slams breaks*. Such a positive interview that turned unnecessarily negative. You can listen to the full interview below or skip to 18:25 mark.

It’s a community for people who…not only don’t have anything else to do, but they hate themselves. They hate their life; they hate their job; they hate their appearance. They are uncomfortable with who they are so what makes them feel good is talking smack about other people; other people who they think they will never ever see in their life who happen to be celebrities. It seems impossible…to ever have the opportunity to say these things to their face, so they get to hide behind their computer.

Says the celebrity hiding behind the radio. So let me get this straight, If you think Rihanna isn’t a great singer or if you think her new “loud” hair she’s promoting for her album sales looks like Ronald McDonald the clown, then you hate yourself. She doesn’t even like the color herself according to her interview. I get it now, people who have opinions about what they like or don’t like hate themselves.  Blogs can be negative, but they can also be very positive and filled with fans who support their favorite artist. I guess it’s just all in the type of person you are, negative people see negative things no matter their celebrity status.

I see blogs as community of people just like in the beauty shop who talk about pop culture, promotes red hair albums, and then tell their friends and families to listen to and buy corporate produced music full of product placement. I guess a real fan is an idiot without an opinion who just claps hands like a seal whenever an artist drops something new, and just buys it.

Lastly, isn’t funny how she was talking about Andrew Bynum, she practically calls him ugly, and yet blogs are filled with people who hate themselves. SMH! I guess we all can’t see for looking.
