Fantasia Says She Cried Like A Baby While Watching Chris Brown’s BET Perofrmance

Fantasia has nothing but praises for Chris Brown after the now infamous BET Michael Jackson Tribute. Defining Moments wanted to get everyone’s opinion on Chris Brown’s BET performance, and whether or not he should be forgiven. Fantasia talks openly to Defining Moments about forgiving Chris Brown, and reveals she cried like a baby during thethat performance. She also added, you can’t keep “holding people down” for their mistakes, at some point you have to let them “fulfill their destiny”.

We make mistakes man. Sometime people hold that for life. And you don’t fulfill your destiny because of what someone is holding against you. I cried like a baby, I rewind it,  I cried…I kept rewinding it, I kept telling everybody come on you got see this,  you got to see this.

Watch the video below as various people, including Fantasia, discuss Chris Brown. If you can’t watch the video, don’t worry I have the words transcribed on the next page.

That Chris Brown moment… Because I always say I don’t praise wrong, people are wrong, and I don’t judge either. Because everyone down here we can’t judge, you know, everyone has their own skeletons in their closet, and we’re not God.

We make mistakes man. Sometime people hold that for life. And you don’t fulfill your destiny because of what someone is holding against you. I cried like a baby, I rewind it,  I cried…I kept rewinding it, I kept telling everybody come on you got see this,  you got to see this. Because it was his way of pouring out saying man, I’m sorry.

That boy danced his tail off. It’s the closest we are going to get to Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson was a rough tough man. Nobody can ever do it like he can, but when he [Chris Brown] hit that stage, I think Michael Jackson has a smile on his face. I think that his family [Jacksons] also was very proud. That moment for me was like, “Wow.” We fall down, but we have to get back up. You can’t just keep holding us down or pushing me down and reminding me of what I done.

We all have to go through things so that we can get better. That’s the moment for me.
