Monster’s Grammy After Party @ House Of Hype: Swizz Beatz, Alicia Keys, Ne-Yo

Of course the weekend of the Grammy Awards, also means a week of parties, and a night of after parties. Last night at The House of Hype venue, Swizz Beatz, Chaka Zulu, Noel and Kevin Lee hosted the Monster Grammy After Party. Monster is the company that owns Beats by Dre, and Swizz Beatz recently signed on as partner with owners Noel & Kevin Lee. It only seems right that the best people in sound, would host one of the hottest parties, at one of trendiest spots, The House of Hype.

55th GRAMMY Awards Red Carpet Photos: Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Adele, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake

Black, white, and red describe the red carpet at the 55th Annual Grammy Music Awards. This year felt classy and classic. SIDE NOTE: It may have something to do with that memo CBS sent out banning clothes that were too revealing, but surprisingly most celebs complied.

Justin Timberlake brought sexy back the last decade, and now he’s bringing back glam and swank with his new song, Suit & Tie. He was giving us Frank Sinatra and The Rat Pack on the red carpet. Black is my favorite color, and so this year’s red carpet was fun for me because BLACK IS THE NEW BLACK, again. Those celebs that were bold and chose a splash of color did it well. Katy Perry in green was statuesque, Rihanna looked like a life size collectible Barbie, and Beyonce chose a jumpsuit– her body alone was enough to get her on the best dress list.

Despite Mashonda recently opening up to Sister 2 Sister and throwing a wrench in the “blissful” union of Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, Keys and Beatz seem to be brushing it off their shoulders. Check out photos of Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz getting off a helicopter yesterday in NYC. They’re both all smiles and love from the look of these pictures (opposite of what they were looking like the other day.)

Check out photos of a very pregnant Alicia Keys and her new husband Swizz Beatz. Keys and Beatz were photographed walking in Tribeca in NYC yesterday. Um, I’m no body language expert, but why does Swizz Beatz look a bit suspect and not so thrilled about Alicia being on his arm. We could argue that they were just annoyed by the photographers. But still. Careful there. You all know what I’m saying.

All the celebrities came out for Rock The Bells 2010 on New York’s Governor’s Island this weekend. Snoop was really busy because I saw him (and Warren G) perform yesterday at Prospect Park in Brooklyn for a Michael Jackson tribute. The celebs seemed to be having a great time. A very pregnant Alicia Keys got on stage and was dancing while Lauryn Hill performed.
