I’ve been really praising Serena Williams and her step up in fashion and appearance. But I’m not too sure how I feel about this latest outfit. I just think Serena could’ve gone with something a little more form-flattering and should’ve definitely chosen another jacket. Serena was attending the Burberry Prorsum show in London yesterday. Serena Williams is stepping up her fashion game these days. Serena was photographed in this hot (but elegant) red number while she watched her sister Venus Williams play at the US Open at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York last night.
Serena isn’t the only one who is into fashion. Venus Williams is wearing a slinky black dress that she designed for her line Eleven. What do you think of Venus’ dress?

Check out several photos of rapper/actor Common playing some basketball at his personal trainer’s house. I’ve met him several times in Brooklyn years ago. Common has an air about him that is chill but very appealing. He certainly doesn’t seem to have a specific type. He dated Erykah Badu for a long time and then Serena Williams. That’s like night and day. What do you ladies think about Common?
Rumors are going around that Serena Williams may have gotten a nose job. Serena Williams pulled out of the U.S. Open last week to recover from a surgery related to a foot injury. According to People.com, “Williams was reportedly hurt by a broken glass at a restaurant while she was in Munich – shortly after winning her fourth Wimbledon singles title last month, and had “surgery” on July 15.” I guess people are question what surgery or surgeries actually took place.

I’ve always admired the Williams sisters for their work ethic on and off the tennis courts, but I’m not so sure about their venture into fashion. It seems like 5 time Wimbledon Champ Venus Williams is a little edgier than Serena when it comes to her tennis ensembles. Remember the “nude’ body suit she wore to the 2010 French Open? To kick off Wimbledon 2010 in England, Venus chose a white ruffled dress which she helped to design. So what do you think? Are the ruffles a Do or Don’t?
