So a few days ago, Kanye West sat down with BBC Radio for an hour long interview. That’s pretty amazing, since the only time you can catch Kanye sitting down in one place for that long is in a recording studio. But Jimmy Kimmel took it upon himself to make a spoof on his show, featuring a couple of kids (check it out here if you’d like). I thought it was alright. iChuckled. But not everyone found it funny.
Kanye proceeded to rant on his Twitter page PLUS he threw in some memes that he made (that were kinda weird). I’m not gonna post the memes since they have graphic language on them, but you can view them here and here. I can kinda understand where Kanye is coming from. He pretty much bared his soul and someone made fun of that. But sometimes you just gotta WOOSAH and focus on other things. Or at least not post it all on Twitter. If you wanna see the rant, check out Kanye’s tweets below:
You know, when I personally am feeling mad about something, my usual M.O. is to put on some music, watch a comedy movie, go out with friends, basically do anything that lifts my spirits so I can just burn off the steam before I go off on somebody. And I guess ranting is Kanye‘s thing…but I don’t know. I’m thinking he might need a new way to get it off his chest. YouTube user TheSowmyaLife was in attendance at the Pusha-T album preview in NYC when suddenly a drunk Kanye grabbed the microphone.
Kanye reiterated that he doesn’t care about corporations and selling out. He said he rides with Pusha-T because they make good music. Then he apologizes for being lit off of Grey Goose, before continuing his rant. Be warned: This is GRAPHIC WORD USE. I.E., he cussing. A. LOT. And loudly. So if you’re at work, put your headphones in or turn down your speakers. Check out the video below:
I guess folks are still sending gives to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to congratulate them on the birth of their daughter, North West. But not every gift is appreciated. Kim shared this photo on Instagram of a gift send to her from talk show host Katie Couric and the attached note. But Kim didn’t appreciate Katie‘s words of congratulations. At. All.
The photo was captioned with this: #IHateFakeMediaFriends #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkShit
I mean, it WAS kinda bad form for Katie to offer her opinion on the name of a child that’s not her own, but I think she might have been trying to be funny. Whatever the reason, the plan backfired. Big time. Guess Kim won’t be a guest on her show anytime soon!
Happy Friday everyone! This weeks seemed to have a lot of things going on in the world so I, for one, am happy to see the weekend. With pictures of North West still not being shared, the whole world is wondering what Kanye and Kim‘s little bundle of joy looks like. And everyone also wants to know how they’re adjusting to the world of parenthood. Well it seems that artist Alison Jackson couldn’t wait and took it into her own hands.
Using some lookalikes, Alison Jackson brings us a few photos of what Kanye and Kim‘s first days of parenthood with baby Nori are probably like. She found some pretty good lookalikes! And some of these pictures I could actually see happening! Check out more below:
I think despite the torrid and emotional nature of Kanye West, most people will agree that he’s a genius. A tortured, misunderstood genius. At times he thrives and other times he falls, but it doesn’t change his brilliance nonetheless. With his new album Yeezus coming out next Tuesday, Kanye sat down with The New York Times to discuss pretty much everything. His career, his music and his personal life. And, as expected, he holds nothing back. Here are some of my favorite highlights:
Justice could just be clearing a path for people to dream properly. It could be clearing a path to make it fair within the arena that I play. You know, if Michael Jordan can scream at the refs, me as Kanye West, as the Michael Jordan of music, can go and say, “This is wrong.”
You know, the amount of backlash I got from it is when I decided to not be on the show anymore. And it’s not that I have an issue with the show; I just have an issue with the amount of backlash that I get. Because I just see like, an amazing person that I’m in love with that I want to help.
Well, I just don’t want to talk to America about my family. Like, this is my baby. This isn’t America’s baby.
