So, what do you do when you get pulled over by the cops? Post the whole incident for the whole world to see, that’s what! At least that’s the thinking Drake had. During a traffic stop yesterday, he pulled out his camera to record a clip for his Instagram followers to see.
He didn’t specifically name the cop but he did note that she was cute. And apparently he was stopped for not having license plates in the front of his car. But I think the funniest part is his patois usage in the caption: Mrs. Officer on a draw down ting. #BwoyDem#ActuallyGyalDem #NeedAFrontPlate #ExcuseToPullOverTheBoy #LovedHerSmile #HatedHerAccent #NWTS Check out the vid below:
With the success of Justin Timberlake‘s 20\20 Experience and Jay Z‘s Magna Carta…Holy Grail, Timbaland is getting warmed up with his production skills. Rumor has it that he will be producing Nas‘ next album (WIN!) and I’m sure there’s a long list of people trying to work with him. But we all know that Timbaland will always have a soft spot in his heart for the late Aaliyah. He spoke to Revolt TV recently about the recent collabos of Aaliyah‘s music with Chris Brown and Drake and let’s just say, he’s not particularly feeling it.
Giving his opinion on the Aaliyah features by both Chris Brown (“Don’t Think They Know”) and Drake (“Enough Said”), Timbo dished out his two cents saying, “In music, people always say, ‘Oh I’m going to do a song with Aaliyah’ [but] it will never work,” he explained. “Chris Brown got a record, it won’t work. Drake got a record, it ain’t gonna work because Aaliyah music only work with it’s soulmate, which is me,” he further commented.
Personally, I don’t even know why either one of them didn’t approach Timbaland before using it anyway. Even if it wasn’t necessarily required, it’s no new info that he had a special bond with Aaliyah. It would just be good practice, I’d think. But, Timbaland did have some good words to say about Drake. Check it out, when you continue…
Good morning and happy Friday!! When you have a song that talks about how you run with the same crew of homies from way back, a situation like this is hilarious to me. ESPN happened to catch footage of Drizzy attempting to get in the locker room to celebrate with his friends. But then he meets the most trill security guard ever.
“This is for media only.”
SHUT. IT. DOWN. His homeboy talking about “Drizzy Drake can’t get in??” Look at the shock on Drake‘s face!!! LMAO!!! Check out the clip below:
I love it when people who are acting pretty much like children take steps to grow up and work through their problems. In the June edition of GQ Magazine, Drake opens up about the feud he had with Chris Brown over Rihanna and expresses his desire to squash it.

Then, drink in hand, he addresses his feud with Chris Brown. “I hear he has everything he could want now,” Drake says, alluding to the fact that Brown and Rihanna were, for the moment, back together. “I don’t want my name to be synonymous with that guy’s name. I really don’t. I wish we could sit down, just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man. But that’s not going to happen. I’m not confrontational, but if someone challenges, I’m not going to back down.”
I don’t know what kind of stuff Amanda Bynes has been on in these past few months but it seems she might be working her way through it. Probably a little over a month ago Amanda Bynes first tweeted about Drake when she shared with her followers that she wanted Drake to, to put it nicely, get down in the bedroom with her. Then a few weeks following, she went on a Twitter rant and called him ugly. But it seems now she wants to get in his good graces again, after tweeting this apology.
I mean…I think at this point, the only friend you may need in your life is a licensed psychologist to help you with whatever is going on in your world, Amanda. Nonetheless, good luck on trying to befriend someone after calling them ugly!
