Singer Michelle Williams turns 34 today.
Everyone can relax and breath. Christina Milian is not dating Lil Wayne. The singer cleared up rumors of her dating the rapper a few days ago.
“We make music together,” explained the singer to media. “It’s work. I’m finally around my record label and I have the opportunity to make music.”
Gabrielle Union and her basketball player fiancé Dewayne Wade have already experienced some trials and tribulations in their relationship, but despite it all the couple is still rolling strong. Recently, the couple sent out invitations to their upcoming nuptials. Gabby and Wade’s wedding guest received wooden invites that prompted them to “Put on your dancing shoes and join us for a Throw Down.” The wedding will be held on August 30th, but the location of the wedding has not been disclosed.
Instead, guests have been asked to meet in the lobby of a particular hotel where they will then be driven to the secluded location of the nuptials. It appears that Gabby and Wade are trying to make every effort possible to elude the paparazzi from crashing their big day. Not only did their guest not receive the location of the venue, but they also received notes with their invites informing them that “no phones and no cameras” will be allowed at their event. The couple feels that having a no phone and camera policy will help to ensure their privacy. I’m pretty sure that is going to be a tough rule for some of the guests to follow. It’s going to be interesting to see how many guests break the rules or at least try.
On the heels of last weeks ESPY Awards which novice NFL star Michael Sam take home the Arthur Ashe Courage Award former NFL player/coach Tony Dungy has stirred the pot and lit the internet ablaze over his remarks coerning the drafting of the openly gay Sam.
You most likely recognize Dungy from his very successful stints as head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the Indianapolis Cults where he became the first black coach in NFL history to win a Superbowl. In an interview with a local Tampa publication Tony stated he wouldn’t have taken the Missouri defensive end Sam had he been running the team. ”I wouldn’t have taken him,” said Dungy, now an NFL analyst for NBC. “Not because I don’t believe Michael Sam should have a chance to play, but I wouldn’t want to deal with all of it. It’s not going to be totally smooth,” he told the paper. “… Things will happen.”
Dungy did not go on to elaborate as to what those “things” he mentioned could entail. And with those thoughts Tony is now under fire from Michael Sam fans, lgbt groups and others.
Certainly there are a sea of others who are trepidatious about an openly gay player transitioning smoothly into the NFL culture, still, isn’t it about time? Comment your thoughts below…

Actress Madison Pettis turns 16 today. Remember her from The Game Plan with Dwayne Johnson? She sure has grown up beautifully!
If you ask me, it sounds like Beyonce is cooking up something new. Recently Queen Bey posted a video to her official Instagram account letting everyone know that the official movie trailer for the highly anticipated film Fifty Shades of Grey is coming this Thursday. However, what has everyone talking is the music that plays in the background of the 15 second clip. With Beyonce posting the video, we can only hope that she’ll appear of the films soundtrack. If you listen clearly it sounds like a slowed down version of “Crazy In Love”, and that song is definitely fitting for the film.
Check out the clip below:
Recently it was announced that Deborah Cox will be the voice singing Whitney Houston’s music in the new Lifetime biopic, which is expected to premier next year. Fans were already questionable when Yaya DaCosta was tapped to play Whitney, and they became even more cautious once they learned they will not be able to hear Whitney’s voice. TMZ was able to get a hold of a recording of what sounds like Deborah Cox’s version of “I Will Always Love You”. It hasn’t been confirmed if this is actually the version to be used in the film, but if so having Deborah sing the music for the film may have not been a bad idea after all.
Check out the recording when you continue. . .
