Judge Praises Chris Brown; National Enquirer: Rihanna Hates Chris

Every time it seems like the drama is coming to an end, the news brings it back to the forefront. Singer R&B Chris Brown appeared in court yesterday, and the judge was proud of the progress he’s made. I don’t know if he’s genuinely remorseful, or if he just knows we’re all watching, but most abusers are not so willing to do the time because they don’t feel they’re guilty. Most abusers have every excuse in the word, and for Chris Brown to take full responsibility without justifying his actions (not that they he could anyway), isn’t something that should go unnoticed. I hope the classes work, and I hope he’s not putting on a front to win back favor or fans.

LOS ANGELES – Chris Brown won praise from a judge Thursday for keeping up with the terms of his punishment for beating Rihanna. “Excellent,” L.A. County Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg said when informed by Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos that the “Kiss Kiss” singer has completed 100 hours of his lengthy community labor requirement.

“It’s an extremely favorable progress report,” Schnegg said, referring to Brown’s formal probation update. She said Brown has attended seven of his 52 mandatory domestic violence counseling sessions, paid all his court fines and given a sample of his DNA.

She ordered Brown back for another status report Feb. 18. [Source]

The National Enquirer is reporting that a “friend” of Rihanna claims Rihanna “despises” Chris Brown, and that Chris Brown has been sending her e-mails up until October trying to win her back…Click “continue reading” for the juicy details.

The 21-year-old singer cannot bear to discuss her relationship with Chris with those close to her, and is still struggling to come to terms with the violent assault he inflicted on her in February. Chris was sentenced to five years probation, six months community labour, 52 weeks of domestic violence classes and ordered to stay away from her for five years following the altercation.

The source told National Enquirer magazine: “Behind the scenes the truth is Rihanna despises Chris – so much so that if someone mentions him in passing she’ll say, ‘Please don’t talk about him.’

“She absolutely did the right thing by being classy in the interview, rather than coming off as vindictive. But I’ve even heard her curse Chris out for what he did to her. She did love him deeply, but in reality those feelings have died away.”

The source explained: “Up until October, Chris was stills ending her emails saying they should go out together for dinner or drinks. Rihanna finally got to the point where she threatened to go to the judge if he kept on bothering her. He’s stopped since then.” [Source]

Angela Simmons is walking around the streets of Los Angeles with the word “yes” on her butt. I can only imagine what her father Reverend Ron is thinking right now. I have so many jokes in my head, and I’m not sure what she is saying yes to. This is my problem with “celebrities”, they claim to not like blogs due to the negative attention, but then they wear bright purple tights with the word “yes” on their tale, and think no one will have an opinion. I like Angela Simmons, so I don’t have an opinion, nice tights!

Rihanna is back in the states after a wonderful publicity blitz in London earlier this week. Whatever she is doing is working, I can’t wait to see her Thanksgiving album sales next week, November 23rd.

Back before Nino Brown (Wesley Snipes) stabbed Christopher Williams, I had a crush on El Debarge, Ronnie Devoe, and Garfield Bright of Shai. But, my biggest crush until this day is Tupac Shakur. I applied to USC, so that I can move to L.A. and stalk him, but luckily for him I chose a more competitive private university. When he was killed, I cried for days like he was my first cousin or something.

Last, but not least I chose Comforter by Shai. I know it’s not Old Old School, but it’s still a great song that takes me back. *Screams at Garfield*

Oprah is stepping down from her syndicated talk show in 2011, just to move to her own network with a different format. This has been on the news non-stop, as if the world is coming to an end. Oprah has been doing this talk show for 25 years, so I imagine she’s just tired. I’m happy Oprah has decided to move on and do something different, I’m sure she has more goals to complete other than talk show host.

Oprah Winfrey, the reigning monarch of daytime chat and occasional champion of presidents and authors, is to announce on her television show today that after nearly a quarter of a century of syndication success she is preparing to quit her show for good the year after next.

It is a measure of Ms Winfrey’s importance on the cultural landscape of America, that a 22-month lead time to her shuttering the show seems an appropriate amount of warning to her fans and advertisers. “The sun will set on the Oprah show as its 25th season draws to a close on September 9, 2011,” the New York affiliate of the ABC Network said on its bulletins last night. Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina were spotted at the airport earlier this week. Bobbi Kristina has blossomed into a beautiful girl, and Whitney looks healthy.

Radar Online sent over this interview of Rihanna on the Bert Show on Q100 in Atlanta. In the interview she tells the show that she has no regrets regarding her interview with Diane Sawyer, and that she was honest in the interview depsite what other people say. When asked if she misses Chris Brown, she first said, “sometimes”, and then she gave a definitive “yes”. She also tells them that she is not dating Tristan Wild from 90210. The father of the young boy who accused Michael Jackson of molestation was found dead, an apparent suicide with self-inflicted gun wound. Evan Chandler, the father of Jordan Chandler, settle out of court for large sum of money, and left a stain on Michael Jackson’s career.

According to MTV, the Evan Chandler, the father suffered from a mental condition (which explains why he would let a grown man sleep in the same bed as his child):

Evan Chandler, 65, the father of a young boy who alleged that he was molested by Michael Jackson in 1994, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his luxury apartment in New Jersey earlier this month.

RadarOnline.com reported that Chandler’s body was found on November 5 by the concierge at his apartment building.

“There was no note found in the apartment, but officers did find medication in keeping with a serious medical condition,” a Jersey City police spokesperson told the site. Police said Chandler was found dead on his bed with a single gunshot wound to his head and a gun in his hand in what they believe was suicide. Police were sent to check on the gravely ill Chandler after he’d missed a doctor’s appointment.

You know it’s a slow news day when all the drama on the internet centers around the cast of For The Love of Ray J. There are some pictures and rumors circulating that Just Right, who goes by the name Ophilia, is dating Trey Songz. Supposedly, the real reason Just Right was kicked off the show this week was because Ray-J found out about Trey Songz. Wow, in my opinion is sounds made up. It sounds like a publicity stunt to to gain just enough media attention to market Ophilia’s “modeling” career (i.e. hustler magazine and music videos).

The picture taken below, looks like a picture you take when you see a celebrity at the mall or in the club, not a picture of a real couple.

Speaking of cast members from For the Love of Ray J, According to Hello Beautiful, Danger admits to sleeping with Ray J while pregnant with Nick Canon’s brother’s child. You better start praying now because I have a feeling the world just may end in 2012 with all this foolishness…WOW!

While being interviewed on DJ Whoo Kid’s radio show, Danger let it slip that she had sex with Ray-Z while being pregnant with someone else’s kid. As the interview went on, she retracted her statement. Danger also revealed that she’s not with the baby’s father anymore and that she did make a sex tape which was stolen…stay tuned!!!We can’t post this interview here due to it’s graphic content, but you can click here to listen to the interview.

Perhaps the best invention of our day is the paternity test. SMH!

I have to rewind the video, but I could have sworn one of the reasons Rihanna said she was attracted to Chris Brown is because neither one of them drink, smoke, or or do drugs. I guess this is definitely the year of change, because Rihanna’s appears very drunk at the end of her party. There aren’t a lot pictures of her drinking from that night, so I’m guessing she’s a light weight. I just have one *side comment* and you can ignore it and move on to the pictures, but is it me or does Beyonce look like LeToya Jackson in these photos, fashion make-up and all. I had to blink twice, and Jay-Z he’s just growing on me more and more everyday…

The DEF is an international non-profit organization that supports the education of disadvantage children in African countries hit hardest by the diamond trade. Jenna and Barbara Bush were recognized for their hard work in education, in areas hit hardest by poverty. Russel Simmons reference them as “true inspirations”.

Rihanna was spotted at St. Pancras International Train Station in London sans makeup, and rocking her shades. I’m not sure why so many people are mad at Rihanna, not sure how getting beat makes you a bad person, but if you read the comments on twitter, you would swear she was a terrorist. (Just because you don’t believe her side of the story doesn’t mean she wasn’t assaulted).

Judge To Gucci Mane Go Straight To Jail For 12 Months

I don’t know what Gucci Mane has done, all I know is that it violated his probation, and the kind judge sentenced him to 12 months in jail because of his actions. Poor Gucci Mane, he’s on every track like Lil Wayne was last year, and now he and Lil Wayne will be serving time. I wonder what the violation was, obviously this story will continued as more information comes in. But for now, MTV reports that Gucci Mane is going to jail for probation violation:

Gucci Mane was sentenced to 12 months in jail on Thursday (November 12) for probation violation and taken away in handcuffs, according to his lawyer.Mane pleaded guilty to assault in 2005 for attacking a nightclub promoter, and last September, he was sentenced to a year in jail for failing to fulfill his court-ordered 600 hours of community service in that case. He went to jail and served until March. Upon his release, Gucci went straight to the studio and recorded five songs.

The sentence is a blow to Gucci’s career. The ATL rapper has an album coming out — The State vs. Radric Davis — on December 8 and is arguably at the height of his career; in terms of his sentence, he may be out of jail in six months.
