I guess you have to understand the history of Chrissy V Chris Brown to see why I don’t think Chrissy was “just” having an opinion, and why I considered it shade.

I wasn’t upset when Pink talked about Chris Brown lip synching, because Pink talks about everyone equally, and she is an entertainer. It was shady, but she understood that it was shady, and was prepared for the backlash and didn’t start whining about it.

Chrissy on the other hand was cursing like a sailor and going off while telling girls to be better. It just felt like it was more personal and not just a critique. For the first time, Chris Brown handled it well and didn’t throw a twitter temper tantrum. But he’s still in the hot seat cause of his fans. That kid will be never be forgiven.

I usually don’t comment on award nominations because they have a habit of leaving out actual great artists but I don’t know if its been this blantant in a while………No Monica or Jill Scott for R&B female really? Nothing against Bey or Chris but they are not video directors, calling a few shots in one of your videos is great but by no means does it make you official. Its kinda like a slap in the face for directors who do it year in and year out not just a video or two. Video of the Year category is also wack if some of those are the best then BET is blind.

It’s just starting to look like a pile on. Celebs dissing other celebs on twitter just seems like a publicity stunt to me. After every award or award show some celeb has started beef with Chris Brown and it’s just getting old. Maybe Chrissy was just making an innocent comment, in which she had the opportunity to say she didn’t mean it as shade. If this was the first incident, I wouldn’t even bother, but Chrissy has had an opinion about Chris Brown before. John Legend chose to plead the fifth on the subject because Chris is a fellow entertainer that takes some maturity and restraint. Chris Brown wasn’t the only person who chose to lip synch, her comments were target to him. And she admitted so.

While there were several who made comments about lipsynching folks went in on Chrissy because she disses Chris Brown on a regular basis. Chrissy has made her dislike for Chris Brown known on several occassions and not just on twitter. I saw an interview of her and John overseas and when John was asked about Chris and Rhianna featuring on each others song Chrissy went in. She also went in about him being allowed to perform on the AMA’s and winning an award. So I guess Chris Brown’s fans are tired of her. Of course death threats and the like are uncalled for.

Chrissy didn’t bully anyone, it was a general statement about people picking on Chris Brown just for a reaction or publicity. It’s getting old. The modeling comment was aimed at her, though.

Commenting on Chris’s performance is not wrong, but her comments also went way beyond that point too once the war started. I read her timeline and she was engaging with the mess.

I have been attacked by Chris Brown stans, Rihanna stans, Beyonce stans, and the list goes on for far less. But I don’t consider myself a victim. Opinions hurt sometimes and they offend. They don’t have to include name calling. That’s why the saying goes if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all. If you’re going to criticize on twitter, it’s not going to be easy. I make a living off of my opinion, and it comes with consequences. It’s not always right or fair, but it’s reality.

YES, Chris Brown has vile fans as well as every other stan. Not just his stans, all of the stans. Just a week ago Tamar stans, yes Tamar has stans, went in on Jill Scott. Jill Scott stayed positive and didn’t drop f-bombs.She also explained that she wasn’t trying to be negative.

I don’t think everyone that doesn’t have warm and fuzzies for Chris Brown are haters. When he’s wrong, he’s wrong. He has disgusted me too with his twitter behavior in the past. Wrote a blog about it, too.

How was Chrissy bullying anyone? Commenting on Cris’s lip synching is not bullying, offensive, or hurtful. I didn’t see her threaten or name call anyone. And I don’t think she was offended by those stupid fans either, she seemed rather amused by the stupidity. Everyone who doesn’t get the warm and fuzzy about Chris Brown is not a hater. Lets face it, Chris Brown has some vile ultra sensitive fans. They will bombard anyone’s mentions if something they deem negative is said about him.

If your opinions are not lifting someone up then they are negative. I just expressed my opinion, and case in point, you are now attacking me because it’s not in line with yours.

You are proving my point! Everything you say comes at a price. If your intention is not to be positive, you will get negative feedback. Chrissy could have chosen to not make that comment on a public platform because of celebrity influence. Just cause you have an opinion doesn’t mean others want have an opinion of your opinion.

Chrissy wasn’t being nice, it wasn’t just simple critique. We all know who she was talking about because she has confirmed it. At no point did I agree with his stans, or feel she deserves death threats. But she is not a victim. Sorry she dished it first.

Chris Brown didn’t reply with negativity his stans did. He kept it cordial.

If I lose a fan, or reader, over my opinion, then so be it, I can deal with the consequences of my opinion. But I find it odd how you are defending the right to have an opinion, then attacking mine and threatening to leave. Isn’t that ironic? I wouldn’t EVER ban you over your opinion even if it differs from mine. I enjoy reading opinions that are contrary to mine.

My thoughts are not part of the problem, I am not condoning evil stans. You can read my past posts to see how I feel about that. If you were a regular reader you would know that, right? I am simply saying Chrissy opinions were not in good spirit and when you criticize someone in a open forum, people will respond.

Its sad that people feel as though offending someone is okay because it is your opinion. NO ONE actually dances and sings at the same time. Pink gives her all but when she is dancing her singing fails and all you hear is the breathing and the background singers. No offense but besides Beyonce no one else has mastered the technique. 2nd if john legend is your bf you cant dance at all. If you don’t have anything nice to say keep it zipped up. At this point all the hate coming at Chris brown makes me view most of these celebs at bullies.

WOW … this is just sad. I’m not fan of Chrissy or John for the matter … But having an opinion on an artists’ performance is NOT throwing shade. It was her opinion and she’s allowed to have one, regardless if music is not her field of work.Offensive would have been saying “Chris Brown sucks and is talentless” … she didn’t even ‘@’ him in the comment, so how was she starting drama?? And it’s sad that people like yourself think she being offensive simply because she stated the obvious. Lip syncing is lame.
