I try to ignore the racial comments about Trayvon Martin deserving to be killed because he looked like a thug. I ignore the claims that the media has hyped this case, although it began as a grassroots movement. I ignore the New Black Panther Party who think placing a bounty on Zimmerman is worth advocating in the year 2012. I even ignore the fact that an insensitive idiot thought it was humorous to put cross hairs on a hoodie, and sell it in honor of Trayvon Martin. But this new trend called “Trayvoning” isn’t something I can just ignore. Please come get your kids!

Planking is stupid, but for the most part it’s harmless fun unless you’re planking on a balcony 50 stories in the air and you fall. Trayvoning, however, just goes to show the depth of ignorance that comes in the age of social media. A teen was killed and his mother and father are still alive– mourning and grieving. Yet, teens are posting pictures of themselves in hoodies, playing dead next to some Skittles and Arizon Tea.

I agree with Clutch Magazine, whether or not you think Zimmerman was justified in his actions, I thought we all agreed that Trayvon’s death was an unnecessary tragedy. I guess now it’s more of a joke, or another twisted way of raising awareness for a case that already has a high profile. I give up! I refuse to believe there is such a thing…

UPDATE:  Spoke to the LA correspondent, at Kelly Price’s party. She said Whitney was energetic, cordial, and happy at the party. Ms Houston RSVP’d the night before and agreed to sing for FREE!!! She also explained that Stacy Francis was the one that bumped into Whitney Houston, but the exchange may have lasted a few seconds.  There wasn’t anything physical. The correspondent also said she wouldn’t even call it a fight, the whole thing was blown way out of proportion. When asked why did Whitney appear tired toward the end, she simply said Whitney was all over the party full of energy. I asked repeatedly if anything seemed out of place, and she said no. Just wanted to make sure we got this story right for Whitney and her family!!! RIP…

UPDATE: This post was written just shortly before we found out Whitney Houston has dies. These are the last public moments of the singer, and unfortunately they were not good publicity moments. RIP Whitney Houston! I really hope there’s peace…

Whitney Houston attended Kelly Price’s Pre-Grammy party, and decided to get on stage to sing a special version of Jesus Love Me to Kelly Price. When I saw the video my first thought was, and I am being honest, “I hope Whitney is not back on that stuff!” An hour later, I saw this picture below, and I was wondering aloud, “Why does Whitney Houston look as though she’d just been in a fight?”

Well it turns out that Whitney was fighting X factor contestant, Stacy Francis, over Ray J in the club. Yes, a cougar on cougar smack down of words over Brandy’s little brother Ray J. Sadly, Stacy Francis wasn’t even checking for Ray J, she was just saying hello because she’d known Ray J for awhile,  but Whitney wasn’t trying to hear that.  Details when you continue…

Obviously, this is not a laughing matter and Whitney Houston needs help. There are too many people in denial around her. It may not be crack drugs, but you can’t tell me…that this is normal behavior for a grown woman:

According to a source, after Francis performed an Etta James tribute and Houston joined Price on stage, the two were reintroduced in the VIP section. “It didn’t seem like Whitney remembered her, but she was cordial at first.”

The scene changed minutes later when R&B star Ray J, who Francis had met over the years, stepped into the conversation. “Whitney just got belligerent,” an eyewitness tells The Hollywood Reporter. “Ray was trying to defend Stacy, telling Whitney, ‘Stacy’s family!’, but Whitney was feeling crowded out and hands were raised.”

Fortunately, the situation was diffused without any punches thrown, but says the source, “You didn’t know which way it could go there for a minute.”

When contacted by THR, Francis didn’t deny that the incident happened, but would only say, “I have the utmost respect for Whitney Houston and her talent.” {via The Hollywood Reporter}

Sam Hurd, former receiver for Dallas Cowboys, and now a soon-to-be fired receiver of the Chicago Bears, was arrested Friday for trying to buy up to $750,000 in drugs on a weekly basis. Hurd just recently signed with the Chicago Bulls for a three year deal worth $5.15 million with a $1.35 million signing bonus up front. Obviously Sam Hurd was not happy with his NFL salary because the young man, known for his Christian beliefs, had a side job pushing weight across state lines. Teammates did not see this coming because Hurd was well known as a Christian who professed his faith, never showed signs of illegal activities, and always demonstrated strong moral convictions. Now, this young man is facing up to 40 years in jail, and $2 million in fines for trying to buy 1,000 pounds of marijuana at $450 a pound, and 10 kilos of cocaine at $25,000 per kilo from an undercover agent.

It’s a situation that you don’t, I don’t, want anybody to be in, especially a close friend, a teammate that I’ve been playing with now for 4 or 5 years,” fellow Bears wide receiver Roy Williams told the AP. “Especially a guy from Texas with a wife and a daughter. … I know it has to be tough for him because he has his family.

What is it about the Dallas Cowboys that keep players connected to drugs? I know Hurd was playing for the Chicago Bears when he was arrested, but he spent six years prior playing for Dallas before heading north to Chicago. More details on this crazy case when you continue. Sam Hurd, wide receiver for the Chicago Bears, is being held in federal custody after he was arrested for attempting to organize a drug-dealing network.

Hurd, 26, was in possession of over a pound of cocaine he purchased from an undercover agent at the time of his arrest, according to AP.

The wide receiver, whose deal with the Bears was announced in late July, was arrested on Wednesday night after he met with an undercover agent in a Chicago restaurant and expressed interest in purchasing 5 to 10 kilograms of cocaine and 1,000 grams of marijuana per week.

Hurd declined to comment on the charges but told reporters he believed he was still with the Bears.

Hurd allegedly told the agent he and a partner already distribute approximately 4 kilos of cocaine each week in the Chicago area, but required a new supplier to manage their demands.

After agreeing to pay the agent “dealer” $25,000 per kilogram of cocaine and $450 per pound for the marijuana, Hurd left the restaurant with a package of cocaine and was promptly arrested.

There have been too many reports of Nicki Minaj losing her temper lately to ignore. I know people get upset in everyday life, but in the last few months, Nicki Minaj’s name has popped-up, in the media along with the words, violent, temper, crazy, and angry. This time Nicki Minaj is accused of going bananas on Dawn DaLuise, a celebrity facialist who owns Dawn DaLuise Skin Refinery in Los Angeles. DaLuise describes two occasions (not one but two occasions) where Nicki Minaj has gone postal, and here’s the first one:

Only two things cause people to act postal like this, the need to be on some drugs (prozac-ish), or the need to be off them (crack-ish). I’m just saying normal people write letters, or refuse to pay for a service they are not satisfied with. They definitely don’t throw money at their technicians. Ricky Romance, the brother of Raz-B, decided to apologize to Chris Brown for threatening to kill him if came to LA. Ricky Romance was obviously upset over the twitter beef between his brother, Raz B, and Chris Brown, that he decided a death threat was a suitable reaction to a twitter cat fight. To show that he over reacted Ricky Romance decided to apologize to Chris Brown in a letter that he obviously used a thesaurus or Wiktionary to create.  Once the letter is decoded, it seems there are just too many insults in it, to call it an apology. Not sure why TMZ tried to pass it off as such. :~

I just had to know if these words were real, and in fact they are. They’re also used wrong, but at least they exist in some dictionary.

Threatening closet coward human beings only leads their tearful plea for restraining orders, desperate cries for help from “affiliating gang bangers”, and countless whiney excuses -I.E. “she hit me first!!” to the media and courts, which could possibly result unwanted circumstances.

As for the once semi high powered homosexual perverts, molesters and child rapists of the Industry, I vaticinate [predict] justice will be brought to you on Judgment Day.

Poor Gucci Mane, I thought he was using the insanity plea to get out of going to jail again, but after seeing this ice cream cone tattooed on his face, I’m starting to believe he might people a little touched. Meet Dawn Holland, a rehab worker (clinical dependency technician) fired from Betty Ford after leaking details to TMZ regarding  a physical altercation with Lindsay Lohan. According to Radar Online, the woman received between $10,000 – $15,000 to tell her side of the story to TMZ.

As more news comes out, we are learning that Dawn Holland may have used Lindsay Lohan as pawn in a scheme just to get rich and infamous. You couldn’t pick a better target than Lindsay Lohan, who is adamant that she’s the true victim of assault and not Dawn Holland.

According to Holland’s ex husband family, Dawn is and I quote, ” ‘anopportunistic golddigger‘ with a violent past”, who was once homeless. Get the scoop when you continue…

Meet Nadja Benaissa, former singer of the German girl band No Angels. Benaissa was found guilty for knowingly having unprotected sex with several men and then infecting one of her partners. Benaissa was lucky that she was being tried in Europe, because she got no jail time and received a 2-year suspended prison sentence and 300 hours of community service.  Boy, if this has happened in the states, she would’ve been locked up instantly.

Benaissa said that she was afraid to tell people she had H.I.V. and that she was sincerely sorry:

I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart. I wish I could turn back time and make everything undone. But I know that he will never forgive me.

Ummm, boo, you’re right, he will probably never forgive you since you gave him a degenerative disease which could’ve been prevented.

In any case, the Prosecuting Attorney thought that the sentence was appropriate. He said:

We have to remember that she was a lot younger than she is now, she had a turbulent life and the acts were committed a long time ago. I think a suspended sentence is justified.

A white only basketball league may becoming to a city near you. The All-American Basketball Alliance, lead by commissioner, Don “Moose” Lewis, is a league for whites only. You heard me right “whites only”.

Blacks and foreigners, anyone born outside of this country, will not be allowed to join the league. The “White Only” league is tired of the street ball played in the NBA, and wants to return to fundamental  basketball that does not include fighting with the crowd, or players grabbing their crotch. And here’s the kicker, the league was started because whites are now a minority:

The league’s commissioner, Don “Moose” Lewis, claims that he doesn’t “hate anyone of color. But people of white, American-born citizens are in the minority now.” Thus, he says, the All-American Basketball Alliance would be “a league for white players to play fundamental basketball, which they like.”

Lewis said he wants to emphasize fundamental basketball instead of “street-ball” played by “people of color.”

“Would you want to go to the game and worry about a player flipping you off or attacking you in the stands or grabbing their crotch?” he said. “That’s the culture today, and in a free country we should have the right to move ourselves in a better direction.” {Source 1 2}

I don’t feel well today, but I had to get up just make this post. Kat Williams was arrested in Georgia for breaking in a home. Only two things would make a person behave the way Kat Williams has been lately, he’s either of his meds or on the pipe. According to AP:

ATLANTA — Comedian and rapper Katt Williams remained jailed in suburban Atlanta on Monday after police said they arrested the entertainer for breaking into a home.

Williams, who police say is 38, is charged with burglary and criminal trespassing, according to Coweta County Sheriff’s Office Major James Yarbrough.

A deputy at the Coweta County Jail confirmed Williams was being held there and that a magistrate was expected to set bond at an arraignment Monday afternoon.

Yarbrough said the Sunday night incident happened at a home in Newnan, about 38 miles southwest of Atlanta. Yarbrough said the unidentified homeowner called police around 9 p.m. to report the comedian “gained entry by breaking into the home, and items were taken from the residence.”

Yarbrough said jewelry was taken, but did not have further details.

Williams, whose real name is Micah S. Katt Williams, is known for his roles in the movies “Friday After Next” and “Norbit.” His comedy DVD, “Katt Williams: Pimpadelic,” was no. 8 in the nation for sales during the week of Oct. 30, according to Nielsen/VideoScan.

But lately the entertainer has gained as much attention for criminal troubles as for his quips.

He was briefly jailed last November after New York police who pull him over for driving without a license plate discovered three guns. Manhattan prosecutors dropped weapons charges in July after running into problems proving their case.

My first thought was I can’t wait to hear why a black pro-athlete would not want to meet the first Black President of the United States. I was honestly hoping he was a conservative and was sticking to his political guns. But, then I read his excuse and I just shook my head.

According to James Harrison’s agent (who should be fired) the reason why Harrison is not going to the white house is because, “he just doesn’t want to go.”  In the video below with WTAE, Harrison says that he’s not going because, “if you want to see the Pittsburgh Steelers, invite us when we don’t win the Super Bowl. As far as I’m concerned, [Obama] would’ve invited Arizona if they had won.”
