According to SFGate.com Beyonce finally acknowledges she married and that a wedding did take place. After reading the quote, I’m not so sure “it” refers to the wedding or just to their relationship. Anyway this is what she had to say about the matter:

“I don’t deny it (the wedding). I just don’t talk about it. We’ve never talked about us and it’s kind of protected our relationship. I think it’s kept us out of the tabloid drama. A lot of actresses that have had successful relationships don’t talk about them, so neither do I.”

According to several new outlets, Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey got married in the Bahamas on Wednesday in an “impulsive”, yet private ceremony. According to Access Hollywood, it’s confirmed that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are engaged. Someone slap me now, I’ve been so wrapped up in Obama v. Wright, that I forgot I was a celebrity news blogger, and this came across my e-mail and I almost went into shock. Little Nick Cannon be putting it down, I’m saying this is the year of the cougars. This message was allegedly left for Ray J shortly after Kim K learned of the sex tape scandal. Only one of these women are claiming to be pregnant, the other one is just gaining a lot of weight in the belly, and wearing maternity like clothing. We all know you are pregnant JLo, the gig is up, so please just confirm the rumors so the paparazzi can leave you alone. Just two weeks ago there were pictures all over the net of Gabrielle Union and Ludacris looking very cozy, and now we have pictures of Gabrielle and Hill Harper looking just as cozy. Gabrielle Union is one of my favorite actress, mainly because she stayed out of lime light, and carried herself in a classy manner. Lately, she’s beginning to look more like Paris Hilton. Maybe she’s just enjoying the single life, or maybe she’s on her way to having a reputation that will be hard to shake down.

Sarah Chapman spoke with Sandra Rose, and had a few errors she wanted to clear up that was printed in Essence magazine in an interview with Kim Porter.

Sarah’s response to Kim’s assertion that she didn’t know her: “A lot of what you said is true about me and Kim. There’s so much more to the story than that. She definitely knows who I am,” said Sarah. “Yes, it’s true, we’ve had words. [Kim] knew about my pregnancy prior to her getting pregnant. In fact, Kim and I met [Sean] at the same time.”

Sarah stressed that she doesn’t seek out the spotlight: “That’s not for me. I don’t enjoy that. I’ll let Kim have that”

She also talked about the rumors that surrounded her pregnancy last year: “There’s been rumors out there that [Sean Combs] offered me a million dollars to not have the baby, said Sarah. “If he gave me a million dollars I wouldn’t be calling him every month for child support,” she joked. “I mean, he pays me on a monthly basis, but there’s rumors that he offered me a million dollars hush money.”

About her longterm relationship with Sean, Sarah said, “He and I are friends, we’ve always been friends. I’ve known him for a long time - 13 years exactly. Sarah adding that they dated “on and off” over those years. “I know it sounds very cliché, but we really are friends. It’s never been a situation where I’m trying to step on top of [Kim] or I’m trying to be in her position.”

Sarah expressed surprise that Kim dropped her name in the Essence interview. “She threw my name in that [expletive],” said Sarah, raising her voice slightly. Regarding Kim’s revelation that Kim didn’t speak to Sean Combs about Sarah’s baby until after her twins were born, Sarah said, “the scary part is that any woman can be with a man and not even mention to him ‘oh, I heard you got another woman pregnant’ - that’s really scary. For the longest time she never mentioned my pregnancy to him. She kept it a secret to herself so it wouldn’t take the shine off of her,” said Sarah. “I thought [Sean] was lying, but he said Kim never mentioned my pregnancy to him.”

For the second and final time. Duane and Tisha Campbell Martin are not getting a divorce. They are sticking it out to the end. In an interview with Essence.com they address the rumors with humor:

For the past month, the blogosphere has been filled with rumors about the future of your marriage. How are you holding up?

Duane: Mark Twain said it best: “A lie can travel halfway round the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.” So I’m not going to defend myself against a gay rumor when I’m trying to defend my son against autism. We would look really stupid trying to take our focus off autism, which affects all of us, to fight a gay rumor. The reason we are talking today is because what we will defend is our 17-year relationship. Nobody is touching that. So whoever wants to rumble, let’s rumble.
Tisha: (Laughs) My baby’s smart! My baby daddy’s smart. My baby daddy reads.

How long have you been married?

Tisha: Only 11 years, but we’ve been together for 17.
Duane: Yep and I’m not going anywhere.

What were some of the reactions you received from your friends?

Tisha: (Laughs) The Wayanses told Duane that he matches too much and he should stop matching his clothes so much and maybe people wouldn’t think he was gay.
Duane: I said to Shawn, Damian and Craig Wayans, “Whassup, y’all didn’t call me. Yo that means y’all believe that s—! I didn’t get no jokes on my machine or nothing.” Craig said, “Yo man, we were scared.”
Tisha: (Laughs) They said Marlon (Wayans) said, “Man, we were in Above the Rim together; I need to call him.”
Duane: (Laughs) Marlon said, “Man, I’m mad at you! We all family. We love you, but the problem is, man, if you been gay all this time, I’m mad because you never hit on me. I’m handsome.”

So for the record, are you getting a divorce?Tisha: Hell no!
Duane: Listen, let me tell you something. I will chew her ass up and swallow it before I let somebody else have her.
