Willow Smith sure is taking her time with her singles and videos. But I guess anything worth doing is worth doing right. Willow will be having the world premiere of her single Fireball featuring Nicki Minaj. Nicki’s… uhhh … “eclectic” fashion style and animated mannerisms fit Willow’s energetic music, in my opinion.

Willow has also finally set a release date for her album. Simply entitled Willow, the album will feature her hit singles Whip My Hair, 21st Century Girl and Fireball. Willow is set to release on April 3, 2012. Take a glimpse at the sneak peek of her colorful new video, after the jump…

Beyonce Wants to Create Her Own Genre of Music

International superstar, Beyonce, is heading back into the studio to work on her fourth solo album. She may have appeared to been on hiatus but the pop diva has plenty of projects leading up to her new music to keep fans happy in the meantime.

Recently, Beyoncé talked about her upcoming album to “Entertainment Tonight.”

“I love to dance, I love to sing, and I’m actually in the studio now writing songs and producing. I have a lot of live instruments that I’m putting into the tracks to try to change the sound and make my own genre of music.”

Recently, she finished filming a commercial for Vizio televisions (which will air next Thursday night, November 25, during the airing of her Thanksgiving concert special “I Am … World Tour”). At the same time, the commercial for her new fragrance, Heat, has been causing quite the controversy. The 1-minute ad was banned from daytime TV in the U.K.

What do you think about the commercial for Beyonce’s first fragrance, Heat? Is it too hot for TV?

After I saw Quincy Jones with Ludacris on 106th and Park earlier this week, I grew a newfound love for his work which has spanned more than six decades. I am really excited about his latest project, “Quincy Jones’s Q: Soul Bossa Nostra”. I also love to see today’s musicians paying homage to those who have come before them.

In case you haven’t seen it, here is the new video from Ludacris, Naturally 7 and Rudy Currencewho pay homage to the legendary Quincy Jones. Luda originally sampled this track with his song “Number One Spot” and now, he’s back putting his twist on “Soul Bossa Nostra”.

Ginuwine will release the video for his new smash single “What Could Have Been” via major online and video outlets in November 8. The video stars Ginuwine and his love interest Phoenix played by Malinda Williams (Soul Food, Daddy’s Little Girls) as a couple who have separated and Williams character is now set to wed and new beau and Ginuwine finds out and is determined to stop the ceremony.

So, I’m moving on just like Swizz Beatz asked, and I’m leaving the Alicia Keys’ affair in the past for now. Her good definitely out weighs her negatives, and so moving on Alicia Keys performs her newest single, Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart. I’m just saying there is some irony in those lyrics, but I’m moving on.

Anyway, check out her live performance on David Letterman. Alicia Keys’ new album, Element of Freedom will be in stores today, December 15th. If you’re a fan and even if you’re not go ahead and stuff those stockings with a CD.

According to AceShowbiz, no songwriters or producers have been credited for this track and they are unclear whether the song will be on Weezy’s rock thememed Rebirth album.
Now I can actually say this one doesn’t surprise me. Madonna still does have a wild side in her.

“If I Were A Boy” the new single from Beyonce had its world premiere on Elvis Duran’s Z100 morning show. Broadcast straight from New York City, “If I Were A Boy” and “Single Ladies” are the two new singles to be released this week from the R&B singer’s upcoming still-untitled third solo album. Judging from the sound, Beyonce has her mind set on country. Toby Gad (the man who produced Fergie’s hit “Big Girls Don’t Cry”) produced “If I Were A Boy.” What are your thoughts?

UPDATE: Check out Beyonce’s other new song “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” which was produced by The Dream and Tricky Stewart. The first listen of the song was featured on Power 105.1 FM. The singer also confirmed to MTV that her new album will be called, “I Am…” with a 10 song tracklisting. Moments ago on YouTube a new behind-the-scenes of Beyonce’s “I Am…” recording process surfaced. The clip has a sneak preview of her two new music videos, “If I Were A Boy” and “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).”

Mary J Blige talks about her new album Growing Pains, and the dedication of her fans in the upcoming Billboard magazine. Her new album Growing Pains hits stores December 18th; it will make a great stocking stuffer.

However, since Irv Gotti called her fat during an interview with Wendy Williams show, Ashanti has been looking quite classy and thin. I think his words must have hit close to home because in a matter of days, her appearance changed.

According to MTV.com, Justin Timberlake is slated to perform a duet with Al Green, for Green’s upcoming album produced by ?uestlove.

Justin Timberlake May Team Up With Fellow Memphis Man Al Green On LP. ?uestlove is slated to produce.”I know Justin wants to be a part of this project,” ?uest said of Justin Timberlake’s probable contribution to Green’s LP. “Anthony Hamilton did some honorary background vocals. Corinne Bailey Rae wrote two songs. She’s a monster songwriter. We also have been talking to Justin’s people now. Both he and Al are from Memphis. D’Angelo will be a part of this record as well.”

?uest said he’s been working on Green’s album for three years, but due to their conflicting schedules, only about three months’ worth of work has been done.

“It’s been putting gray hair in my afro,” ‘Love laughed. “I’m not producing, I’m reducing it. I’m trying to take him back to 1974 — very dry, very dirty, very grassroots sound.
