Meagan Good and Devon Franklin are on the cover of Today’s Black Woman – Style Report. Meagan and her husband Devon talk love and marriage, while showing off some of their style in the March/April Issue of the magazine.
In a chic four-page spread the power couple discuss what inspires them about one another and what looks they love to see their better halves sporting, among some other cute lovebirds deets.
Speaking of Meagan Good, we hear she’s returning to NBC in a new role. Meagan Good will be play Janine Beltran, a doctor, in NBC’s new zombie series Babylon Fields. Should be interesting…
I must confess hearing the words Miley Cyrus and nude has gotten a bit old; not really sure why it keeps creating a buzz. Although the cover reads, “No Apologies, Miley Cyrus Laid Bare,” the photo vaguely resembles Miley. The girl on the cover looks older and maturer, a far cry from the Miley we see on social media with her tongue hanging out, demanding that we see her as an adult through very child like antics.
The Miley on this cover admits to having trust issues, hating disrespectful kids, not having big breasts, but having few people in her life that she can call friend:
I must admit that when I saw the cover of ESPN magazine featuring Kobe Bryant and Nicki Minaj, I thought something was off with Nicki Minaj’s photo, but all around it was a cute cover. Nicki Minaj obviously felt the same way, and addressed the issue via twitter with the following comment:
I love my personal un-retouched photos where my forehead doesn’t mysteriously grow in length.
Although the singer was appreciative of the opportunity from ESPN, she tweeted what most people were thinking. To prove her point she shared a few personal photos from behind the scenes of the shoot where she looks #flawless. Not sure why ESPN selected that particular picture for the cover, but they also wanted us to know they didn’t photoshop or retouch Nicki Minaj’s forehead:
While we occasionally make minor visual and cosmetic adjustments to cover images, we do not
Tamar Braxton releases more pictures of Baby Logan, and when I say he looks just like Vincent Herbert, I exaggerate not. Baby Logan is unbelievably adorable, and he and his mother are featured on the cover of Today’s Black Women.
Check out a few photos from inside the covers. This baby should have been named Vincent, too: Awwwwww
Guess who’s back to flaunting her curves on the cover of a magazine for all to idolize? YEP! It’s Kim Kardashian. Just months ago Kim Kardashian hated these same types of magazines for talking about her weight gain during her pregnancy, when she was feeling insecure. Now that she’s back in shape she’s using these same magazines to promote her body. Well at least she looks great!!! But these magazine covers are a double edge sword. Live by the cover, die by the cover…
No gimmicks, no surgery! Kim slams the fat bullies, and gets sweet revenge…
Kerry Washington has been on the cover of many magazines, but Harpo, who dis woman?!? That’s not the Kerry Washington I watch every Thursday on ABC’s Scandal as Olivia Pope, perhaps it’s another famous Kerry Washington on this cover of Lucky magazine. According to our friends at Cotten Kandi, gladiators are outraged.
Sadly, many people are outraged over the skin tone. Really?!? They feel like Kerry Washington looks several shades darker. The color isn’t the real problem here. Black people’s skin color changes shades often throughout the year but they still look like themselves. Besides most magazines lighten their covers to make celebrities “glow”. The real problem with this cover is that someone at Lucky photoshopped Mrs. Asomugha beyond recognition.
Lucky about to have some bad luck…because that’s not Kerry. They better call Olivia Pope.
