Zoë Saldaña covers Allure magazine with big hair to die for. Inside this issue, Zoë talks about playing Nina Simone. She also talks about labels and trying to live outside of labels regarding her race and her sexuality. Although there are a lot of headlines suggesting that she’s bisexual, it’s quite the opposite. Zoë Saldaña admits to only being in relationships with men, but she’s leaving herself open to finding love anywhere and with anyone.
I might have to do some research to really verify this, but I think Kim Kardashian as had one of the most atrocious pregnancy wardrobes I’ve ever seen. Which is amazing because prior to it her style was fashionable, if not a little too much sometimes. But it’s like she’s been fighting the fact that she’s pregnant and taking it out on her clothes. Case in point: that horrible MET Gala flower bomb dress. *shudders* But Kim is looking down right fabulous in a bikini on the cover of this week’s Us Weekly.
Sporting a nice, round belly at seven months, this beach look is probably the best Kim has looked in a minute. She’s embracing her growing belly, not trying to ignore it like nothing is there. Kim does acknowledge that she’s been having difficulty in her pregnancy style, with a quote from her blog earlier this year: ”I struggle finding things that don’t make me look heavy.” UNDERSTATEMENT, FOR THE WIN.
Scandal is our favorite show here at MrsGrapevine.com and Thursday nights you can find us on twitter with all the other gladiators trying to figure out the plot. I didn’t realize, however, that we are helping Kerry Washington make history, just by watching. Kerry Washington is the first black woman in 40 years to carry a TV drama on a major network. Not only is she carrying it, but she’s number one.
I knew that in my lifetime I’d never seen it. But it didn’t compute to me that I’d be making history. I just fell in love with the character.
Eveyln Lozada shares a few photos from a photo shoot for the cover of a magazine. What magazine? That’s still a secret, but we do know it’s for a “Beauty Issue” cover. Check out Ms. Evelyn below plus a sneak peek of what’s to come:

Every year there seems to be a breakout actor during Oscar season that takes the country by storm. For this year’s upcoming Oscars, Quvenzhané Wallis is that one. Quvenzhané is featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, according to Black Celebrity Kids.
Quvenzhané is up for the Best Actress category for her portrayal of Hushpuppy in the Indie film hit Beasts Of The Southern Wild and is one of the youngest actresses to ever be nominated in that category. I can’t wait to see what happens on Sunday, February 24th!!
Rihanan decides to post nearly topless photos on twitter via Instagram…again. So why post these pictures again? Cause Rihanna finally addresses the issue during an interview with Complex Magazine. During the interview Rihanna admits it’s a bit narcissistic, but who better to take pictures of Rihanna than Rihanna?
It’s narcissistic, but whatever—everyone does it. I’m capturing personality… Everybody has their thing they like or don’t like to see. It’s all in your head. That’s why people take their own pictures, because it’s difficult for someone else to capture what you seek.
Rihanna also teaches us how to take the perfect picture via Instagram, and why she will keep posting topless pictures via twitter. Plus check out some of the spicy pics of Rihanna from Complex Magazine on Page 2.
