Singer K Michelle Joins Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta
Singer K Michelle is joining Mona’s Scott Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta, according to SingersRoom. I had the pleasure of interviewing K Michelle last year and she is one of the most honest and open entertainers in the field. She talked about everything from bad relationships, to stripping, to getting her college degree, and keeping her faith. Ciara Takes A Shot At Acting In Broadway Based ‘Mama’
The celebrities of today understand that the way to keep your relevancy levels high and not get put on the back burner is to stay busy. Ciara tries her hand at acting by staring in the Broadway based movie Mama, I Want To Sing! Ciara plays Amara, a preacher’s daughter who is discovered and thrust into fame. Ciara will be starring along side big names like Lynn Whitfield, Hill Harper, Billy Zane and the legendary Patti Labelle.
On paper, this movie reminds me of the Sparkle remake. Singer with acting veteran’s and combine into a cinematic work. But they seem to be taking their time with Sparkle so if movie musicals and remakes is your thing, this might satisfy your senses. Kalenna Harper Actually Has 8 Children; 1 Grandchild; & A Ranch Full Of Animals
Kalenna Harper of Dirty Money doesn’t just balance her career with one son, she actually has seven stepchildren (yes seven), a step grandchild, a husband of seven years, and a ranch in Texas full of animals, including cows and alpaca. Kalenna Harper is one of the most interesting people you will meet in music. You don’t have to believe me, but Kalenna Harper and I had a long conversation where she talked about her life, her struggles, and her career. Here’s an excerpt from the interview where she opens up about her extended family:
I tell you this because it’s crazy and we never get into it in interviews, but I’m married, and I have seven stepchildren, and I love everyone of them, and one step grandchild…Falling in love with a man who had children already, I felt right at home. I felt happy about it!
