According to Quincy Jones‘ youngest daughter & the hilarious star of NBC’s Parks & Recreation Rashida Jones, you just MIGHT have gotten hit by the King of Pop. According to TheWrap.com Rashida sat down with Playboy Magazine and detailed the story of the Super Soaker Assassins. The deadly team of Rashida, Emmauel Lewis and Mike took to the streets to deliver water-based comedy. For one night, at least. “Michael basically grew up with us, so I have a million memories of him,” Jones told the magazine. “We were at each other’s house all the time. He was definitely a little bit of an alien, for sure, and when I was young, it felt as if he was my age, not 18 years older,  but with just a little bit more pep.

“Later, we’d go out on the town together. He always wore those surgical masks,” she said. “Once, my sister, Michael, ­Emmanuel Lewis and I got in a car with Super Soakers and went by a movie theater and supersoaked the hell out of people waiting in line. They had no idea they’d just been supersoaked by the King of Pop.”

According to the Las Vegas Sun, the slot machine will play six of Michael‘s greatest hits: Bad, Beat It, Billie Jean, Dirty Diana, Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough and Smooth Criminal.  The game will feature MJ at his best, doing classic move like the moonwalk and the Smooth Criminal lean (and don’t act like I’m the only one who tried to do it without falling as a kid and adult) and of course, will feature his iconic glitter glove.  With mimimum bets start at 40 cents and the max being $4, I foresee this to be an easy and fun way to blow some Vegas dough!

Right on the heels of this news, Cirque De Soleil has just released it’s official trailer for the Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour. IT. LOOKS. ABSOLUTELY. AMAZING. Check out the incredible video, after the jump…

The Los Angeles Times is streaming a live feed of the courtroom online, for people who want to follow this trial moment by moment. I JUST started to watch the trial not too long ago and fell apart when they played the iPhone recording of Michael describing his hope for the “This Is It” tour, while under the influence of “unknown agents”. Chris Tucker joins Wesley Snipes in tax problems, according to TMZ, Tucker owes $11 Million dollars in back taxes to the IRS.  When are actors going to learn that the government will get their money one way or another? I really hope Tucker doesn’t go to jail.

Mocienne Petit Jackson, a woman in the Netherlands and alleged daughter of Barbara Ross (Diana Ross’ sister), says she is the child of Michael Jackson and Barbara Ross.  Mocienne also claims that Katherine Jackson tried to have her abducted at 9 years old, but that the kidnappers were all murdered (what?!).

Not that any of you will be surprised, Mocienne says she wants a claim in MJ’s inheritance.  And Mocienne says that she wants to have custody of his kids so she can give them a better life.  DNA tests will tell the truth in due time.Similar Posts:

During their search, detectives found 19 tubes of hydroquinone and 18 tubes of Benoquin, both of which are commonly used in the treatment of a skin condition Jackson had called vitiligo. The disease creates patches of de-pigmented skin, and creams can be used to lighten skin that has retained its color to give a more even appearance.

The discovery of medical creams in Jackson’s home dovetails with an odd remark Murray reportedly made soon after Jackson’s death.

According to police statements obtained by the AP, Jackson’s personal assistant, Michael Amir Williams, told detectives that in the hospital where Jackson was pronounced dead, Murray told him he wanted to return to Jackson’s house “so that he could pick up some cream that Mr. Jackson has so that the world wouldn’t find out about it.” {Source}

I refuse to believe Michael Jackson got down like that. I refuse to believe it, although that does explain the barely legal videos the FBI found in his home.

Not only that, but the three men also said that Jackson frequently had relations with “girlfriends” in the back of their car:

“We had a curtain that covered the back seat. We couldn’t see in the back seat. They were…you know…”

When the interviewer suggested “making out” to end the sentence, the bodyguard replied by saying “it was either that or they were chewing very loud gum.” {Source}

And on the other coast, celebs hit the 22nd Annual Thurgood Marshall College Fund Anniversary Dinner at Sheraton in NYC. Mary J Blige has been hitting the red carpet hard this month, appearing at many of the charity events. If someone would have told me in the beginning of Mary’s career that she would grow into a philanthropic social elite, I would have said Mary Who? Monica, Mary J, Fantasia, Lynn Whitfield, Jasmine, and Cornell West also attended. Jasmine Guy reminds me of Devante in that H-Town/Jodeci video. She has been through a lot of stress since her divorce.

In the affidavit, Dr. Murray explains that Jackson was already addicted to the drug propofol, and Dr. Murray was simply trying wean him from the drug. He explains that Michael Jackson went into cardiac arrest while he was in the rest room, and when he returned he immediately performed CPR. However, it took him 47 minutes to call 911, after reviving Jackson proved unsucessful.

I am not making this up, and this rumor has found it’s way into mainstream media. According to MSNBC, this rumor just may have legs:

Omer Bhatti, the young man being referred to as Michael Jackson’s “secret son” by the British press, was no secret to the pop star’s family. Sources close to the Jacksons say that Bhatti, who often went by Michael J, was introduced to the Jackson family as early as 1992.

Is he really Michael’s biological son?
Although Bhatti appeared mysteriously and without explanation years before Jackson and Debbie Rowe had son Prince Michael, several family friends who protected the pop star’s privacy through the years say they accepted the idea Bhatti was a biological son.

“He looked so much like Michael, especially when he was younger. We have every reason to believe it’s his son,” said another family friend who met Bhatti.

Who is the mother?
Bhatti’s mother remains a mystery to the family. But one famous friend may know her identity.

“Elizabeth Taylor introduced Michael to the mother. That’s all anyone knows about her,” said a source who didn’t know Bhatti personally, but is close to Taylor.

Michael Jackson’s Billy Jean just may have come true! LOL! I will stamp this as false for now, but it does have me thinking.

Following the Michael Jackson memorial and performance of  “I’ll be There”, Mariah took to her twitter page to apologize for the quality of her performance. Here’s what she had to say.

Just recovering from the day. Still filled w/sadness as we listen to KJLH in LA(Stevie Wonder’s radio station)paying tribute to MJ.

Trying to sing today was basically impossible for me. I could barely keep myself from crying. I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to pull it together and really do it right, but I was literally choked up when I saw him there in front of me.

One thing I know is, we will never really have to say goodbye to MJ. His legacy lives on through his music and the millions of people. He inspired with his timeless music. He will be forever in our hearts.

I did notice that Mariah’s performance wasn’t up to par. But to be honest she hasn’t performed the way she use to in a while.

In respect for Michael and the memorial I will not say anything negative!

Michael Jackson was a complicated individual, but I don’t know of too may musical geniuses who weren’t. Actually, I don’t know too many individuals who are not. The movie Crash, really help me to see, that the most complicated person is a conflicting mix of greatness and failures. Today it’s important to put this man’s life in perspective because he has grown into a caricature. I argue that we always tease the ones we love, and some of the jokes we told came from a good place, and some of those jokes others told came from a place that was just mean spirited and vile.

Over the last few months I was truly concerned about his health, and the jokes began to stop. I can see how weak he was, and I knew in my heart of hearts the end was near. I just felt it would be a process, where we could grieve, and not a lost in a matter of moments while I’m pumping gas.

I am angry that his handlers were doping him and pushing him to the brink of death, knowing full well Michael was not capable of 50 concerts in his current condition. The people that surround celebrities don’t care about their best interest, they care about the pay checks and favors that come from being a “yes man”. So many pain killing drugs were pushed into his system, perhaps by choice at times, but this time he was not alone.

In my generation he was not a freak show, but a sexy pop icon. You don’t believe me, here is a picture of the Michael Jackson we had a crush on:

Michael Jackson is the most influential man in the world. I would like to say that is an understatement, but his name is Michael Jackson in every language on this earth, and his reach is global. It spans across generations and cultures. I remember seeing him overseas on TV with crowds of people, then he would touch one person, and they would pass out. They fainted from his touch:

I am absolutely at a lost for words! The worst part about this is that it was so unexpected with no time to prepare for his departure! At 50 years old it seems he died much too young. Here is a few tweets and blog posts celebs have written.

I have not been a fan of Michael Jackson in recent years, but my childhood is filled with wonderful memories of the most complex individual of my time. We joked about him so much, and took his talents for granted and like an old friend said, “Death adds value to life. (Thanks J Kristopher).

But today we celebrate our best memories of Micahel Jackson, and so I’m going way back to when I was a little girl listening to Thriller on my blue jean record player. Hands down Thriller is the best, some may say Bad, but sorry it’s Thriller. I have always had an old soul when it comes to music, and so my first choice is not the most popular Michael Jackson song:

This second song is probably the saddest song in the world,  next to Man In the Mirror. I love this song because it’s so simple, yet cheesy, but oh so good.

Michael was great at fusing styles and this funk, pop rock combination, is one of his best songs. I forgot about this song until today.

Last, but not least.
