Welpity welp welp welp.  I’ve always thought the relationship between singer Lauryn Hill and Bob Marley‘s son Rohan Marley was disfunctional.  There were whispers about Rohan still being married to his first wife at the time he and Lauryn were a couple. Lauryn had 5 kids with him and still Rohan didn’t make any moves to marry her or anything. Then Lauryn had a sixth child and Rohan denied that it was his child. MESSY!! And now look-a-here: he’s engaged to someone else.

Rohan is engaged to 28 year old model Isabeli Fontana, according to Brazilian magazine Terra.  Apparently Rohan met Isabeli in October, after denying that Lauryn‘s sixth child was his.  And I guess sparks flew.  Isabeli is a mother of two kids and this will be her third marriage. I guess wedding day jitters can affect everyone, from the everyday average person to the legendary celebrity. Aretha Franklin has decided to call off her wedding to her long time beau, Willie Wilkerson.  She had just announced her engagement at the beginning of the year.

Franklin said things were moving too fast and “a number of things” had not been thought through.

Well, considering that Aretha has been married twice before, I can understand how she might be hesitant about walking down the aisle again.  But with a statement like that, it seems like there’s something amiss, don’t you think?  I guess someone felt the same and asked for clarification, because her representative moved to nip any further questions by closing with this statement: Continue Reading →
