Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, Christina Milan, and Karrueche are twerking their way into shape. Tiny is on the scene with these young ladies keeping it tight at LexTwerkOut in Hollywood while taking private twerk-out classes instructed by owner Lexi Panterra. This is a new and sexy way to workout. Don’t let the name fool you, although it’s fun, it’s a lot of hard work, too. Twerking has definitely gone mainstream…

Baltimore Ravens’ running back, Ray Rice was reportedly in a fight with his fiancee, Janay Palmer, while at Revel Casino, in Atlantic City the day after Valentine’s Day. The two were arrested for misconduct which also included domestic violence– just shortly after the hotel footage (below). In the video Rice can be seen dragging Janay out of the elevator. Janay seems unable to move until she’s out of the elevator. Honestly, to me she looks inebriated, but TMZ is describing Janay as being out cold, as in she was knocked out.
Either way this video doesn’t really help anyone’s case. At this moment Ray Rice is not speaking to the media about the situation, and according to his lawyer Ray Rice is waiting for his day in court, if it comes to that.

Michael Sam , a defensive end from the University of Missouri, has taken a bold move by openly announcing that he’s gay right before the NFL Draft. The young players admits that he wanted to make the announcement on his own terms, which means he didn’t want to give anyone the power to try and leak his private information, for malicious reasons:
I didn’t realize how many people actually knew, and I was afraid that someone would tell or leak something out about me. I want to own my truth. .?.?. No one else should tell my story but me.
Wish more athletes would feel the same way, instead of living double lives. His teammates are well aware that Sam is gay; he came out to them last year after the coach asked each teammate to reveal something personal about themselves. Funny thing is, his teammates already knew:
Social Media is such a double edged sword. It can be used for good and evil. If you’re ever had the experience of being online during a football match where Fox Sports reporter Pam Oliver is on the sidelines, you’re surely seen (or even participated) in the criticism she’s been getting in regards to her hair. And Pam has seen it too. But according to an interview she did with Philly.com, she doesn’t really give a lick about what you think. She has a job to do.
“No, I wish it were so easy. It’s a process. I do my own hair and makeup – insert joke here,” she deadpanned. “I’m up early. I’m at the stadium about 4 hours before the game, just going over some last-minute stuff and then waiting for some players to come out, which is generally 2 hours before the game.
“You’re out there, trying a to catch players, get some last-minute stuff, get your reports turned around quickly, and I may or may not have time to put on lip gloss or powder my face,” Oliver explained, adding that she doesn’t have hair stylists and makeup artists with her on game day. “I know TV is a visual medium, but there are times when you kind of hope that people are listening to what you’re saying as opposed to judging you if a strand of hair is not in place or if you have only got one eye lined or something.”
