Ray J hosts the Over-the-Top Party at Gallery Nightclub in Las Vegas. Check out Ray J getting his grown man sexy on while in Vegas. Even if you’re not a Ray J person, you have to admit he looks rather sharp in these pictures:

Tyrese Gibson attends the CinemaCon 2012 Awards Ceremony at the Caesars Palace.

Guess who else was in Vegas? Cee-Lo Green is spotted at the Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino, as well. Cee-Lo is on hand at the 2012 Billboard Awards Press Conference. Cee-Lo will be performing at this year’s Billboard Awards which includes performances by Justin Beiber and LMFAO.

Last but not least, Bill Cosby hit up the Penn State relays. I just had a flashback of an episode of The Cobsy Show.

This weekend, the Hollywood and sports world came together at the Tribeca Film Festival’s premiere and gala for the ESPN Films screening of the upcoming documentary, “Benji”.

The team-less,Lamar Odom took time to do what he loves best… walk the red carpet. He cried and complained that one of the things he would miss after being cut from the LA Lakers would be the red carpet events and movie premieres. He’d rather be out getting his picture taken instead of playing basketball for the team he was traded to, the Dallas Mavericks, so I hope he is happy now. He was Kardashian-less at the premiere-uh oh.

Anyways, the premiere and gala hosted a great mix of film industry professionals and athletes. One of the greatest actors of all-time Robert De Niro-who founded the Tribeca Film Festival to bring the film festival experience to New York after September 11th-showed his support by attending the premiere. Here he is with the documentary’s directors, Coodie and Chike.

Also in attendance was one of the fastest men in the world, two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, LaShawn Merritt of USA Track & Field who took a quick break from his Olympic training to attend Tribeca. Also, Super Bowl Champions Ahmad Bradshaw and Prince Amukamara of the New York Giants who showed support for the film.

If you are a fan of ESPN Films, you know they bring forth some of the most powerful sports stories ever. Benji goes back to 1984 when 17-year-old Ben Wilson was a symbol of everything promising about Chicago: a sweet-natured youngster from the city’s fabled South Side, and America’s top high school basketball prospect. Nicknamed “Magic Johnson with a jump shot,” Wilson’s natural talents and drive assured his best years were yet to come. Then, in November of his senior year, the career of this exceptional youngster was abruptly and tragically cut short. Ben’s grim fate sent ripples of horror through the city and the country.

The thing I like about Rihanna is that she is a fan of music, and it shows. Rihanna attended the 2012 Coachella Music Festival which included a surprise performance from the singer. Rihanna joined DJ Calvin Harris on stage, and gave the audience their money’s worth. Rihanna and Katy Perry had fun interacting with the crowd as well as each other, and at one point participated in crowd surfing. Rihanna tweeted about the whole night, including seeing Tupac perform live with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. Here are few pics:

Think Like A Man is coming to theaters on April 20th and the cast members are in full swing making sure Atlanta turns out to support this film based off of Steve Harvey’s book of the same title. Steve Harvey was on the radio yesterday bashing bloggers as losers, yet here we are helping with the promotion of this film O_0, but thankfully LaLa Anthony defended blogs as a great medium that keeps many entertainers relevant. So we will just ignore Steve Harvey because we know he’s mad about his ex-wife comments, and focus on this film that everyone is talking about.

Yesterday the cast made their media rounds to local radio stations, then they hit the red carpet for the Atlanta premiere at Regal Atlantic Station, and the night ended with an after party hosted by Crown Royal at Reign Nightclub. It was definitely a who’s who event as Steve Harvey, Tyler Perry, Michael Ealy, Gary Owen, Rainforest’s Rob Hardy, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, T.I., Nelly, Vanessa A. Williams, Egypt Sherrod, Ne-Yo, Tasha Smith, Terri J. Vaughn, Michael Jai White, Keshia Knight Pulliam just to name a few.

Here are few pics of the cast making their media rounds to local the colleges, Morehouse, Clark-Atlanta, and the Atlanta University Center. I will post the red carpet pics of the premiere NEXT!

The 2012 event beneficiaries include the Make-A-Wish Foundation, The James R. Playboy Magazine and Hugh Hefner hosted celebration in classic Hollywood fashion at the famed Playboy Mansion last week in Los Angeles, in honor of their annual “Sex & Music” issue, featuring Bruno Mars.

According to LAsthePlace.com, celebs including Britney Spears, Cameron Diaz and Jeremy Piven were out in force and danced and partied while Bruno and his Hooligans performed a mash-up of hits, covering everything from Michael Jackson’s “Dirty Diana,” to Police’s “Roxanne,” and even Ginuwine’s “My Pony”.

Bruno Mars is the 10th man ever to grace the cover of Playboy for their Sex and Music annual issue.

Kim Kardashian is such a goof friend. Not only does she rock a pair of the infamous $4800 Giuseppe Zanotti x Kanye West shoes, but she also flies to Paris to support the sophomore launch of Kanye West’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection. Kim Kardashian is not the only celebrity showing love, Teyana Taylor, Cassie, Waka Flocka Flame, Diddy, Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Rosario Dawson, and Common hit up the fashion event, too. Check out a few pics of Kim Kardashian werking it for Kanye.

If you haven’t seen the collection, you can check it out at Fashion Bomb. I think this time around Kanye West impressed many of the critics. It seems that he can take constructive criticism well, and offered a more cohesive line over his last attempt which opened to mix reviews. This year’s winter collection features lots of leather with a dark edge and very little color. My favorite color is black, and I enjoyed this collection. It was more sophisticated than I would have expected. Too bad I can’t afford it but I will look for Kanye West-inspired alternatives this fall… More pics when you continue

Maia Campbell, daughter of author BeBe Moore Campbell, looks beautiful in a new interview with Get Noticed Media. It almost brings a tear to my eyes to see how far she’s come. Two years ago people were exploiting her mental illness and drug addictions for youtube hits, which made me so mad. Today, she is healthy and clean, and reunited with her daughter. Many bloggers, like Miss Jia, not only reached out to people close to Maia Campbell, but took a special interest in Maia Campbell’s story, and kept her lifted up in prayer. Two years later, she’s ready to get back to work promoting her new book, Sagittarius, while carrying on her mother’s legacy.

Maia Campbell also wants to get back into the industry. I don’t know about the industry, but at least she has celebs like Tyrese, Tracey Edmonds, LL Cool J, and Debbie Allen looking out for her best interest. Clive Davis’s Pre-Grammy party is usually a delightful evening showcasing the best talent in music. Last night many celebs were mourning the loss of an icon, Whitney Houston. Some chose to honor Ms Houston with smiles, and others with tears. Clive Davis opened the event with a moment of silence and these words:

Whitney was a beautiful person and a talent beyond compare. She graced this stage with her regal presence and gave so many memorable performances here over the years. Simply put, Whitney would have wanted the music to go on, and her family asked that we carry on.

Gabrielle Union was stunning on the red carpet, from head to toe. Kelly Rowland was visibly teary while rocking a beautiful blue sequin dress, looking like Diana Ross, Jr. Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose were clearly at the wrong event. Other celebs in attendance included Sanaa Lathan, Melanie Amaro (winner of X Factor), Ciara, and Toni Braxton, Serena Williams, and Alicia Keys.

If you felt the ground shake at any time last night, then it must have been from all the Beyonce stans who fell out over images of her first appearance since giving birth to Blue Ivy. We’ve been noticing a certain pop princess popping up at NBA games in LA. Everyone in Hollywood loves the Lakers, of course, but when celebs start checking in at Clippers games, it really stands out. Last night, singer Rihanna sat courtide at the Nuggets versus Clippers game at the Staples Center at LA Live in Los Angeles.

On several occasions, Rihanna has been spotted at Clippers games. She even missed the People’s Choice Awards (which was only a few hundred yards away) to check-in courtside to the Clippers game.

Let’s play process of elimination on who she is there to see or check out. Chris Paul is married with kids so let’s give him the benefit of the doubt. Caron Butler is also married. We’ll just skip ahead to Blake Griffin. He seems like Rihanna’s type and is really a low-key bad boy.

Maybe Rihanna has jumped on the Clippers bandwagon too, but wouldn’t Rihanna and Blake Griffin make a cute couple?Similar Posts:
