Last week TMZ broke the news that 2 Chainz and his crew were robbed at gunpoint. It was also reported that 2 Chainz’ “homies” took off running and left 2 Chainz to fend for himself.
The truth is, according to the video, they all took off running, including 2 Chainz, because they were caught off guard in broad daylight by several gun men. 2 Chainz tripped and fell while running which left him vulnerable to the attack. Since everyone made it out with their lives, it seems like running was probably the best choice.
TMZ released the video (below) after 2 Chainz denied via twitter that he was robbed at gunpoint.I don’t know what to believe, but I’m glad 2 Chainz is ALIVE. However watching that guy with a gun skipping after 2 Chainz and ‘em, almost makes this whole ordeal feel like a huge joke. Check it out:
Even though Saturday Night Live hasn’t been as consistently funny as they have been in decades past, one thing that I love about the new cast is the creation of the comedy group The Lonely Island. Made up of comedians Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone, and Andy Samberg, The Lonely Island are the ones responsible for SNL masterpieces like D*ck In A Box with Justin Timberlake and I’m On A Boat with T-Pain. The Lonely Island just released a new album, The Wack Album, and debuted a video for the song Go Kindergarten. The song features singer Robyn (y’all remember her??) and the video stars actor Paul Rudd and P. Diddy.
Listen. I had to pause it about a minute in because I was screaming laughing. The great thing about The Lonely Island is that they kind of have a way of showing us how ridiculous some of the music we listen to nowadays in, while making us dance along. I think it’s genius. The song IS uncensored so turn down those speakers at work. Check out the video below:
I think despite the torrid and emotional nature of Kanye West, most people will agree that he’s a genius. A tortured, misunderstood genius. At times he thrives and other times he falls, but it doesn’t change his brilliance nonetheless. With his new album Yeezus coming out next Tuesday, Kanye sat down with The New York Times to discuss pretty much everything. His career, his music and his personal life. And, as expected, he holds nothing back. Here are some of my favorite highlights:
Justice could just be clearing a path for people to dream properly. It could be clearing a path to make it fair within the arena that I play. You know, if Michael Jordan can scream at the refs, me as Kanye West, as the Michael Jordan of music, can go and say, “This is wrong.”
You know, the amount of backlash I got from it is when I decided to not be on the show anymore. And it’s not that I have an issue with the show; I just have an issue with the amount of backlash that I get. Because I just see like, an amazing person that I’m in love with that I want to help.
Well, I just don’t want to talk to America about my family. Like, this is my baby. This isn’t America’s baby.
Shaunie O’Neal, Evelyn Lozada, and Tami Roman all cover Upscale magazine dressed in white looking like angels. The Basketball Wives cast of bullies have decided to do better, not because they saw themselves on TV season after season after season hopping tables and throwing bows, but due to the negative backlash. In the interview the women talk about their behavior, their struggles, and why they kicked Royce Reed and Jennifer Williams off the show.
People were connecting my behavior on the show with the incident with Chad. They were like, ‘Well if she acts like that on the show, then I’m sure she acts like that at home.’ I’m a totally different person at home.
It wasn’t just one season, it was several seasons. The audience finally had it when Evelyn turned on her “friend” Jen over very simple comment about Chad, who turned out to be NO GOOD! Not only turn did Ev turn on Jen, but put all of her business out in the streets. I like these women individually off the show, and they have been very kind to bloggers, as far as access. However I would rather see the change. Dressing in white and going on a publicity binge doesn’t equate to change. Anyway check out the rest of the interview, and see why they kicked Jen off the show.
