MrsGrapevine was front and center last night as the girls of Danity Kane reunited on stage at Los Angeles’ Universal CityWalk performing for the first time as a trio. Without former bandmates D. Woods and Aundrea Fimbres the remaining ‘Making the Band’ girls Aubrey O’Day, Dawn Richard, and Shannon Bex are forging ahead and (as you will see) are still ‘showtoppin’! Click and play some of the must-see footage from last night’s concert below…
Danity Kane is still on fire! No lip-syncing and killin’ harder dance moves than ever, the trio packed a memorable punch to the mammoth crowd. Treating fans to classics hits (above) and sampling some new cuts the girls ended their one-hour set with their new summer anthem ‘Lemonade’.
On the red carpet before the event the girls promised that there is an album in the works, nearly completed and that a visual for Lemonade would be dropping soon.
Re-conquering the music scene will no doubt prove an uphill battle for the now seasoned DK yet its critical to keep in mind the previous success of the group. Their two previous albums performed incredibly well on the charts. Flashback to their debut album which sold over 90,000 copies in its first day of release, the self-titled record Danity Kane officially sold 234,662 copies its first week, placing it at number one on the U.S charts. Those numbers are near unheard of these days!
Shoutout to the girls who must be commended for putting on a truly memorable live experience. Keep an eye out for these girls, they are not ready to dissolve into the musical landscape anytime soon!
Uh-oh, something good is in the works, Drake and Chris Brown spotted in the studio together. They have been able to put their differences aside regarding, you know who, to finally do what they do best…make music. Ever since Chris Brown has gotten out of jail he’s been on a music mission, a collaboration with Usher, August Alsina, and now Drake.
Although rumor has it that Chris Brown and Karrueche have broken up, guess who is also spotted in the studio with Breezy. Check out the photo below when you continue:
Earlier this year Elle Varner treated her fans to new music as apart of her 4 Letter Word project. Now she is back with a new track featuring A$AP Ferg. “Don’t Wanna Dance” is expected to appear on her sophomore album, which has yet to receive an official release date. In the song Elle sings about missing the one that she loves and not wanting to dance while in the club with her friends.

Last time Usher and Nicki Minaj teamed up was for his single “Lil Freak” and now the two are at it again for is new single “She Came To Give It To You”. The Pharrell produced track is expected to appear on Usher’s latest project, and he is definitely coming with the hits this time around. For his second single Usher offers up a track that is a little more up tempo and I can guarantee this one will definitely top the charts as well.

I think it’s pretty safe to say that Jazmine Sullivan’s comeback is definitely in full effect. Back in May she released her new single “Dumb” featuring Meek Mill, which is expected to appear on her new project Reality Show. In the music video, cheaters are being exposed. Each cheater that’s exposed and labeled as dumb just happen to be puppets or dummy’s. The entire treatment for the video is pretty funny, but pretty accurate at the same time.

It’s been quite some time since
Bow Wow Shad Moss and Omarion has appeared on a track together, so it’s only right they team up with one another for old times sake. “Need That Love” samples LL Cool J’s classic hit “Hey Lover” featuring Boyz II Men. I must admit that it’s a nice little twist to the song and gives us a little 90′s feel here in 2014.
