Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum Reveals Whitney Houston Wax Figures

If you haven’t been to a Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum before, I suggest you go. The one in New York City is quite amazing. However, it’s been a good decade since I last saw it and I personally think the quality isn’t as consistent as it was before. Yesterday, at the NYC Madame Tussaud location, they unveiled 4 different Whitney Houston figurines.

Mama Cissy Houston was in attendance and from the look on her face, she wasn’t too impressed. I think the National Anthem Whitney is spot on! Bobbi Kristina was working the red carpet like an A-list celebrity at the Los Angeles premiere of Sparkle. I don’t know what it was but for the first time, I can see that Bobbi Krisitna also favors her mother, Whitney. Check out Bobbi Kristina glowing on the red carpet with Nick Gordon by her side (her adopted brother turned lover). BTW, they are not related in any form or fashion, so they are free to date. Besides, Bobbi Kristina looks happy for the first time in a long time.

Stevie Wonder Still Has ‘Dem’ Braids; Chaka Khan Still Got Body

Artist for Peace “Never Again” Concert took place Monday Night in Universal City, CA to honor Stevie Wonder and peace efforts against genocide. It was the Lost & Found event of the year. Bobby Brown made an appearance, along with Eric Benet, Pras, Wayne Brady, and Tommy Davidson. Seriously where have all of these people been? Chaka Khan serenaded her good friend Stevie Wonder. Many of you may not know this, I really didn’t either (I’m not that old), but before their was a Beyonce, Chaka Khan held the title of the voice with the body. As you can see below in her leopard boots and bodysuit, Ms Chaka Khan is holding on to that title.

Actually in her younger years, Chaka Khan and Nicki Minaj resemblance is quite striking. It’s almost eerie. I would like to see Nicki Minja remake this photo in Ebony Icons.

Anyway, back to the topic. Stevie Wonder is holding on to his braids, but I don’t know how much longer the braids can hold on, his iconic look is fading fast.
