Annie Leibovitz has been facing hard financial times during the recession. The famed photographer nearly lost the rights to her collection by defaulting on a $24 million loan, luckily for her she was able to work something out and still owns the rights to huge body of work for now.

What better way to make money than to do a photoshoot with The First Family. The Obama hires Annie Leibovitz for their family portrait, and check out the picture below as a testament to her talent:

Monica Leon, best known by the code name “Danger” on the VH1 reality series, For the Love of Ray J, just had a baby shower. Let’s see, about nine months ago she claimed Ray-J was the father of her un-born child, and of course Ray J denied denied denied. But isn’t it strange for a guy to be at a baby shower when he’s not the father of the baby? Isn’t it even more strange when he’s the only guy in the picture? Move over Papa Knowles, I think another paternity suit is coming.

I received a tweet yesterday that made me laugh, and then it made me think. Is Ray-J a supportive friend, or is there more to this story:

It’s not over, yet. Celebrities were just hitting event after event, and here are some of your favorite couples doing what they so best, smiling for the camera and getting their PR hustle on.

I must be a fan on MTB4 because I cannot get enough of Que and Dawn. I don’t know what it is, but they just remind me of a young a Bobby & Whitney. Not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing. The soul mates came out to support the opening of Philippe by Philippe Chow Restaurant in West Hollywood.

Look, how romantic. Que has Dawn’s lips tattooed on his neck. I mean that would be so romantic if it wasn’t already done before. Kenyon Martin beat you to it Que, when he tatted Trina’s lips on his neck. Maybe you should have tatted her finger prints, I’m sure that would have been original…

Oh, and remember Jaleel White (Erkel) from Family Matters. He was also at the grand open of Philippe by Philippe Chow Restaurant. I have to stop calling him Erkel, it makes it harder for him to find work.

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey were extra affectionate on the red carpet at the premier of Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire. We get it, you’re a real couple and the marriage is bonafide. Have you noticed that the young men in Hollywood tend to prefer older women?

Lenny Kravitz accompanied his daughter, Zoe Kravitz to the premier of Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire. It’s not secret that I am a fan of Zoe, and I think Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz did a great job of raising this young woman, despite their “alternative lifetsyle”.

Papa Knowles Paternity Suit

Papa Knowles may be working on his retirement plan.

According to Alexsandra Wright and TMZ, she is six months pregnant by Mathew Knowles, better known as Beyonce’s father. Ms. Wright has filed a paternity suit in the court of law against Big Papa Knowles. She’s not just saying he’s the baby’s daddy, she wants the court to prove it, and she’s not waiting until after the baby is born, either.

Rumors have been circulating that Tina and Mathew Knowles were estranged, like Joe and Katherine Jackson. In past interviews they have spoken of brief separations in their marriage, but this one will probably take the cake.

The young lady, Alexsandra Wright, is an “actress”, who had a brief appearance on Scrubs in 2001. I do mean brief. Her last acting gig was on the show Girl’s Club, as Janice back in 2002, and she also had a brief appearance in Baby Boy. Papa Knowles should no better by now, and this woman just may have found her come up. As for now, it’s just a rumor, a legal one at that, but we are watching to see how the story unfolds…

If you can’t find love, remember there is always online dating. This is going to be a big day for Match.com because their union of Essence Atkins and Jamie Mendez lead to wedlock. If Essence Atkins can’t find a man, that means the dating scene is throwed. Essence saw Jaime’s profile last Valentine and was impressed with what she saw, decided to send him a note, and the rest is marital history. The two have been “inseparable” ever since, which explains why we have less pictures of Essence and Gabrielle Union dancing on bar tops together. Anyway the couple were married this past weekend at the Ambassador Mansion and Gardens in Pasadena, CA. Congratulations, and note to women, keep your options open.

That didn’t take long, we all knew Christian Milian was pregnant well before the shotgun wedding, the wedding was just icing on the cake. I don’t knock her for getting married and doing the right thing by her family. I just knew she was pregnant and was trying to hide it from us. According to US Magazine:

The pregnancy was a surprise, but they were getting married regardless,” a source tells Us. Milian has already been talking about children. Even The-Dream (real name: Terius Hagert Youngdell Nash) — who proposed to Milian with a six-carat sparkler from Ivanka Trump’s jewelry line — has been talking about a family.

“I love kids, and [Christina] loves kids probably more than I do,” he told Us in July. “She’ll make that time [to have a baby]. In the next couple of years, there’ll be something around.”

Congratulations to Christina Milian and The Dream. I’m sure they will make good parents. I’m now thinking I should have chosen a better picture before saying that.

All I can say is that I’m not mad at you. I know Toya loved her some Lil Wayne, but whoa, can we say Mr. James Hardy is an upgrade. All I can say is I’m not mad at you, I’m not mad at all.

Anyway, while you fawn over Toya’s new man, I just want to let you know that there is no beef between Toya & Nivea. In fact the two have been very supportive of each other in the past. In a recent interview, Toya says Nivea is the only one of Lil Wayne’s girlfriends that she allows around Regginae. So there were no akward moments at OMG Girls performance in Atlanta. FYI: Charlotte Ronson, the designer and host, is the sister of Samantha Ronson, the on and off again girlfriend of Lindsay Lohan. I guess if you’re going to hold hands with a girl, it may as well be at a Ronson event.

Speaking of Richie, Lionel Richie and daughter Sophia, hit up the red carpet at Fred Segal for the launch of New Disney & Muppet Myzos. She reminds me of Nicole, even though they’re not related by blood, they still favor. It must be the hair.

Over the weekend, Djimon and Kimora took her two girls Aoki and Ming to a Broadway Theatre to see “Shrek The Musical.” Visibly absent was their newborn son Kenzo Lee Hounsou.

It’s good to see them so happy together.

Correct me if I’m wrong but in their recent OK! Magazine spread the couple revealed that they are now legally married. They held a small ceremony in Djimon’s native country of Cotonou, Benin in Africa.

I know Jennifer Hudson is keeping things on the low, but I’m sure someone would confirm the delivery even if she wouldn’t. This rumor is not confirmed!

I can confirm this one, Lisa Wu-Hartwell of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is losing her house due to foreclosure. What is going on in Atlanta, why are they the only housewives losing their homes? Everyone is putting on appearances and they are all in debt, or in other words, BROKE! If you spend more than you make then, yes, you are BROKE! They only person doing well is Kandi Burruss, but she’s not a housewife, and she’s has some relationship issues going on. Anway Lisa Wu-Hartewll was kicked out of the house she shared with husband Edgerton Hartwell, former Oakland Raiders linebacker, and the house has been sold. But don’t worry, according to Lisa’s reps, “The rep says “Ed and Lisa are fine. They have settled in their [new] home, that sits on 10 acres and they OWN it!”

Usher’s new album will contain details about his “tumultuous” relationship with Tameka Foster, and he reportedly has a song entitled, Filing Papers. It does seem a bit weird to use the divorce as marketing for his new album, so fans please wait until the divorce papers are stamped, “final” and “closed”, before celebrating. SMH! I’m not sure how this story got by me, but TMZ claims to have found the real Big Poppa, Lee Najjar. You know the mysterious married or not married man from The Real Atlanta Housewives (the show where only two of the characters are actually married). I have a hard time believing this is Kim Zolciak in this picture because her wig actually looks good from this angle (claps hands). Big Poppa is that really you?

What I do know is that Big Poppa is super rich, check out his home on MTV Crib’s Teen Edition. He is a real estate mogul and I’m wondering what kind weight he also moves with these properties. Anyway, I guess this video also answers the question about Big Poppa’s infidelity. YES! It looks like he’s definitely married; we get to meet his wife and kids on this episode of Cribs. Apparently, he has an understanding with his wife, as long as he takes care home, he can play with his Barbies!

Kandi Burruss of ‘The Housewives of Atlanta’ series may not be becoming a house wife any time soon. She recently revealed to E online! that things with fiance A.J. Jewell may not be going so well.

No, uh-uh, it didn’t get that far. You will see us trying to plan, but you will see a lot of the problems and the different issues that are going on.

Have you set a date?

We haven’t set a date, and I’m just going to be real with you: We have been having serious issues. My drama has been ongoing since the taping has stopped. We just got engaged right before the taping of the show. So things that I would have to deal with or things I would have to learn about, I had to learn about and deal with it while the cameras were there, which makes things even more tense, you know what I mean?

Of course, but are you still together?

Um, we are dealing with things, but that’s about as far as I can go.

Well, the guy has 6 kids and her mama don’t seem to like him very much, so this is not surprising at all. I wish them all the best though.
