Conspiracy theorist around the globe would have loved to have had this opportunity.  And according to Will Smith, his son Jaden is one of them.  During a recent interview with BBC Radio 1‘s Chris Moyles, Will shared a story about his son Jaden wanting to ask President Barack Obama about the existence of extraterrestrial life.

When Jaden asked his father about asking the president about aliens, Will shot him down.  He told him that it’s an embarrassing question and told him he wasn’t allowed to ask that. LOL  Well, once they got into the “situation room”, Jaden threw caution to the wind and started to ask. But President Obama, sensing what was coming, stopped him before he could ask and said “The aliens, right?” My president is psychic!!! As a self professed super fan of Michael Jackson, I admit to having moments when I just instantly miss him and even tear up. Yup.  But I really can not imagine what his mother Katherine Jackson goes through everyday.  Especially as the guardian of his children, Paris, Prince Michael and ‘Blanket‘.  But tonight, Katherine will sit down with CNN’s Piers Morgan to discuss Michael and her life without him, including her feelings on Dr Conrad Murray.

Katherine has said that she’s never met Dr Murray nor, to her knowledge, has he ever reached out to meet her.  And she’s also expressed her feelings on his sentence, noting that she doesn’t think four years is long enough.  You can tell this will be a really emotional interview; she appears sad and teary eyed throughout the entire clip.  I don’t even know if I’ll be able to watch without shedding a tear or two. Say what you want about Will Smith but I personally love him. He just always seems like a genuinely fun and great guy that never let any rumors get to him.  Will sat down with Shaun Robinson of Access Hollywood to discuss his upcoming film Men In Black 3 and what life is like in the Smith household.

“That Willow, she is, uh… See, boys are easy. Like, it’s really easy with boys. It’s like, until you can beat me in a fist fight you’ve gotta do what I say!”

LOL! I’m not sure that it’s QUITE like that but that’s probably not a far stretch, for most fathers with their sons.  Men In Black 3 will open on May 23rd, ending Will‘s three year hiatus from the big screen. Matt: “It’s my understanding you all really wanted to be here today and talk about your dad and some of the things that have gone on. Why is it so important?”

La’Princia: “I honestly feel like my dad’s a great person. He’s been my best friend, like, my whole life. If I ever have a problem with anything, I know I can always go to him. Likewise, if he ever needs to talk to somebody, he knows he can always call me and I’ll be there for him.”

Matt: “Yeah? The rest of you? Is that the reason you’re here?”

Bobby Jr.: “Yes. Definitely.”

Matt: “Because you don’t feel that the public has–”

La’Princia: “Oh, they definitely do not have the right perception on him.”

Matt: “What do you think the public perception of this man on the end is, Bobby?”

Bobby Jr. “No matter what he does, they just view him that way. They don’t– like, never really give him a chance.”

Landon: “I feel like my father’s always had the bad boy image. So, you know, they just keep followin’ that, you know? Anything that they can take a negative from the situation, they blow it out of proportion and blame him.”

La’Princia: “They don’t see the good part of him that we see every single day…. Everyone makes mistakes in life. Everyone goes through their ups and downs. You can’t be judged forever about one event in your life or– just the bad decisions you’ve made, you can’t always be judged just by that.” {Source}

We’ve heard Pat Hosuton say that Bobby Brown didn’t introduce Whitney Houston to drugs, we’ve heard Whitney Houston imply it, and now Bobby Brown himself is speaking out against the allegations that he’s responsible for Whitney’s drug use and ultimately her death. I don’t know how many times he has to say it or it has to be said, you cannot keep blaming this man for Whitney’s actions. Just because the media portrays them as good vs bad that does not mean that’s how either one of them lived privately. Whitney Houston’s brothers also dealt with addiction to hard drugs, and during the 80′s it sounds like it was just raining drugs. I’ll be glad when we can get past the point of reducing both of these stars, Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston, as people just battling addiction. They were so much more and accomplished more than the average star.

I didn’t get high before I met Whitney … I smoked weed, I drank the beer, but no, I wasn’t the one that got Whitney on drugs at all …it’s just unexplainable I’m not the reason she’s gone.

Bobby Brown will speak out in his first interview since the death of Whitney Houston with Matt Lauer on the Today Show. Here are few excerpts from that interview via Necole Bitchie…

On Accusations That He’s Responsible For Her Drug Use

[They] make me feel terrible. But you know, I know differently. I think if anyone ever knew us, if anybody ever spent time around us . . . they would know how we felt about each other. They would know how happy we were together.

The reality show gave us a wake-up. We [were] able to see that our drug use had affected our relationship, had affected the love that we felt for each other.

On Seeing Whitney a Week Before She Died

She had this glow about her that was just, you know, incredible. She looked really well. She just looked like she was in a good place.

On Whitney’s Drug Use & Not Knowing She Was Still Using

I was hurt. I was hurt … Because, you know, me being off of narcotics for the last seven years — I felt that she was, you know, I didn’t know she was struggling with it still. But at the same time, you know– listen, it’s a hard fight. It’s a hard fight to, you know, maintain sobriety that way.

From what I feel and you know, how I saw her, the last time I saw her, it had to be that particular day. You know, it had to be that one, because that’s all it takes … One hit, you know, and you know, it could definitely take your life away from you. And, unfortunately, that was it.

Tina Knowles has her daughter’s back, and addresses all of the rumors regarding Beyonce’s pregnancy as “stupid”. Mama Knowles tells People Magazine that she thought the rumors were “unfair” and “cruel”.

I couldn’t agree more. Anytime I post anything about Beyonce it becomes controversial, so many people want to see this woman fail, and I don’t understand why. Apparently, I am not the only one that doesn’t understand this invested hatred. During an interview, Tami Roman tells Sister 2 Sister Magazine that it’s the producers fault the women on Basketball Wives are seen as negative. According to Tami Roman, 90% of  their lives are positive, but the producers only choose the negative things to show.  Just because Evelyn jumps the table to beat down her friend Jen doesn’t mean the producers have to show it. -OR- In my opinion, Evelyn probably shouldn’t jump on tables in the first place at the age of 40 to fight anyone including friends, especially when cameras are rolling, but I digress. Here’s what Tami tells S2S:

We show our flaws. We learn and develop as individuals. I can’t judge Evelyn [Lozada]. She has to work toward change. People don’t give us the benefit of the doubt or take that into consideration. Did Evelyn need to run over the table? Maybe not. Did Nia have to go over and slap Jennifer? Maybe not. I still don’t believe that warrants this big all-out movement against women who are really just showing our lives.

The more money Evelyn has made the worse her character becomes on the show. I understand why women are boycotting the show, at some point there is a line, and perhaps the show has crossed it.  Tami doesn’t seem to get that part of it:

I think that the opposition to call for the show to be cancelled will end the employment of several African-American women who have no creative control. Why not call out the people who make the decisions about what is aired. Call out Shed Media. Call out VH1 because I will join that battle. There’s a popular celebrity magazine out there that has a little segment called something like “They’re Just Like Us!”, in which they highlight every day things celebrities are caught doing.  I really hate that segment because it makes it seem like celebrities aren’t human.  But I guess sometimes people need to be reminded of that because it’s easy to put them on another level.  VH1 aired their Behind The Music special featuring Brandy last night, which went into a lot of areas Brandy has never really talked about before.  Specifically, she went into the 2006 fatal car crash that she was involved in, which resulted in the death of Awatif Aboudihaj.

I would hear what people would say, and still to this day they know that that’s a button. They know that they can call me a murderer or call me someone that killed someone. They know that is a button for me. A murderer is someone who premeditates it. I didn’t wake up that day to be involved in a fatal car crash.

I know on Twitter it seems as if there’s always a Brandy joke regarding the car crash at least once a week but this really put it into perspective for me.  It’s a very emotional and revealing segment of the special and quite honestly, it makes her human to me.  Not that she wasn’t before but I watched this and thought of what it would be like if I were in her shoes.  It’s a hard pill to swallow.  Check the video below:

I don’t know if it’s just me but rapper Eve has completely disappeared off my radar a few years ago.  It seemed as if she was going to pursue the rapper/actress thing quite heavily, but she slowed down on both pretty abruptly.  But she’s making moves yet again, working on an album and stopped by TheWomenOfHipHop to talk about female emcees, new and old. First up for discussion are newcomers Azealia Banks and Iggy Azalea.

I like Azealia Banks. I think her style is dope. If you listen to her lyrics, she knows how to wordplay and I think that’s cute. I’m not really into the Iggy Azalea chick. I can’t really f–k with her music, but her look is crazy. I just can’t believe it.

Hmm. Seeing as how they’re both pretty hot in the new female emcee arena, I think she pretty much knocked out a chance for an Iggy collabo, if that’s even important to her.  But she also had a few things to say about the ever present Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj beef. Pauly plays N’Sync‘s I Want You Back upon Gabby‘s entrance and she proceeds to bust out with the running man. OK! You know, I probably wouldn’t mind this same “homeless” problem. Singer Will.I.Am opened up to Britain’s The Time Magazine to share on his current state of homelessness and why he’s happy with it.  Will.I.Am has been traveling and living on the road for the past 12 years, with only hotel rooms to call his home.

Will has apparently never invested any of his cash into owning property and has no plans to make that change anytime soon. He’s currently in London, shooting U.K. version of The Voice and is well adjusted to life on the go.  That’s actually not a bad deal. Maid service every day…room service whenever you want…no grass to mow or other homeowner problems to deal with. He just might be onto something.  Will.I.Am also shared that he never takes a vacation.  But not for the reason you would think…

“My lastvacation? I don’t go on vacations. What, to do nothing? No, my life is a vacation.”

Think Like A Man is coming to theaters on April 20th and  the cast members are in full swing making sure Atlanta turns out to support this film based off of Steve Harvey’s book of the same title. Steve Harvey was on the radio yesterday bashing bloggers as losers,  yet here we are helping with the promotion of this film O_0, but thankfully LaLa Anthony defended blogs as a great medium that keeps many entertainers relevant. So we will just ignore Steve Harvey because we know he’s mad about his ex-wife comments, and focus on this film that everyone is talking about.

Yesterday the cast made their media rounds to local radio stations, then they hit the red carpet for the Atlanta premiere at Regal Atlantic Station, and the night ended with an after party hosted by Crown Royal at Reign Nightclub.  It was definitely a who’s who event as Steve Harvey, Tyler Perry, Michael Ealy, Gary Owen, Rainforest’s Rob Hardy, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, T.I., Nelly, Vanessa A. Williams, Egypt Sherrod, Ne-Yo, Tasha Smith, Terri J. Vaughn, Michael Jai White, Keshia Knight Pulliam just to name a few.

I’m sorry but I have to take a moment to LMAO at this. Andy Cohen might have thrusted singer Clay Aiken into a war with Rihanna and her “Navy” with this one.  Andy, host of Bravo TV‘s Watch What Happens Live questioned Clay during a segment called Plead The Fifth, in which Andy asks 3 questions and a guest can “plead the fifth” on only one answer.

Clay mans up and answers all three questions!  He plays Marry, Screw, Kill with his former American Idol judges, reveals if he has had any plastic surgery and let’s us know that, if he had to pick a current pop star that wouldn’t make it on American Idol today, it’s Rihanna. Obviously, this is a tragedy. I can only imagine what these parents are going through, and when I think about this boy, I think about my own kids, and I think every parent in America should be able to understand why it is absolutely imperative that we investigate every aspect of this, and that everybody pulls together — federal, state and local — to figure out exactly how this tragedy happened.

THE PRESIDENT: Well, I’m the head of the executive branch, and the Attorney General reports to me so I’ve got to be careful about my statements to make sure that we’re not impairing any investigation that’s taking place right now.

But obviously, this is a tragedy.  I can only imagine what these parents are going through.  And when I think about this boy, I think about my own kids.  And I think every parent in America should be able to understand why it is absolutely imperative that we investigate every aspect of this, and that everybody pulls together — federal, state and local — to figure out exactly how this tragedy happened.

So I’m glad that not only is the Justice Department looking into it, I understand now that the governor of the state of Florida has formed a task force to investigate what’s taking place.  I think all of us have to do some soul searching to figure out how does something like this happen.  And that means that examine the laws and the context for what happened, as well as the specifics of the incident.

But my main message is to the parents of Trayvon Martin.  If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.  And I think they are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves, and that we’re going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened.

When some women love, they love hard and unconditionally. I don’t know if I can stand by the side of man like DMX who has been in and out of jail for drugs and mental issues and don’t let me get started on the women and ALL the cheating, but Tashera Simmons explains that Earl Simmons aka DMX has been the love of her life since high school and she is standing by Earl’s side. Through four kids (three boys and a girl) and a six year separation, Tashera talks about the up and downs of loving DMX. Their relationship will also be featured on Vh1′s Couple’s Therapy which airs tonight…get ready for some drama.

He was like no one I’ve ever met…He’s definitely one of a kind. Yeah, you know what, and like again I say, we’ve been together since we were kids. After that man years, you are family. I can’t be fake. When I took those vows I meant them…I love HARD.

I think Nicki Minaj has utilized nearly every color in the ROY G BIV rainbow spectrum in her hair so far. But Nicki decides to nix any flashy colors and goes fairly minimalist with a short white bob on the cover of the 10th Anniversary edition of Complex Magazine. There’s also a pretty bold alternative cover with pop prince Justin Bieber that made me pause for a minute. It’s hard to make Nicki seem like the tame one but he did it…

In her interview, Nicki talks about making goals in her musical career and meeting her own personal expectations:

When you’re constantly exceeding your own expectations, how do you set new goals?
Doing the Super Bowl with Madonna doesn’t really change Nicki Minaj’s personal goals. My goal right now is still to put out Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, sell five million copies eventually, and tour every country in the world. That’s what I’ve been working toward. So while the world is talking about, “Oh my God, I can’t believe Nicki Minaj was at the Super Bowl!” I’m mixing and mastering my music. In my scheme of things it’s way bigger.

And, in a surprise to me, she even discusses her future and marriage plans.  I don’t see Nicki going that route, just because she’s so over the top and constantly moving that the idea of slowing down to get married and have a family seems a reach…but if there’s one thing Nicki likes to do is surprise people.  See what she said about her future love life, when you continue…

This being Complex’s 10th Anniversary issue, it seems fitting to look forward to the next 10 years… Where do you think you’ll be in 2022?
In 2022, I’ll definitely be married and I’ll definitely have my two children.

Why just two?
OK, I might have three, but I do want at least one boy.

Maybe if you get a full set early, you can stop there.
No, no, no. I don’t think I even need a girl. I need a boy though.

Wait, you don’t feel like you need a girl?
Yeah, ‘cause you think I’m going to dress her up in wigs. No. [Laughs] I really need a boy in my life. A baby boy. Because…I’m so attached to my little brother and I felt like that was my real son. And boys, they’re just so, I don’t know… My heart just melts when I see them.

OK, so in the next 10 years, married…
Oh, I will definitely be married.

Kids.
And two children.
