I feel like I haven’t done a Jay-Z and Beyonce post in a minute (too much Chris Brown and Rihanna drama). Today is dedicated to Rihanna, and her comeback performance in London. By her side was her “mentor” Jay-Z and his beautiful wife Beyonce. I just have one *side comment* and you can ignore it and move on to the pictures, but is it me or does Beyonce look like LeToya Jackson in these photos, fashion make-up and all. I had to blink twice, and Jay-Z he’s just growing on me more and more everyday…

Michelle Williams took it to the extreme in her new Alter Ego photo shoot by celebrity photographer Derek Blanks. This shoot by far shows the extreme talents Derek Blanks possesses. I count at least 10, maybe 11 different alters in this shoot. That means 11 wardrobe changes, 11 different angles, and 11 different images to merge into one. I didn’t know Lamar Odom had a clothing line, he just didn’t seem like the creative type to launch a line. I guess you can’t judge a book by his quick marriage for publicity to Khloe Kardashian. I meant to say with all the marriage buzz, I wasn’t aware Lamar Odom was launching his new line Rich Soil. In true fashion his celebrity-n-laws (Kim & Kourtney Kardashian) were there to support the event. I seem cynical today, what’s up with that.

Speaking of Kourtney, her home was robbed, and cops are thinking it’s an inside job since the burglar took jewelry that recently came into Kourtney’s possession. [Read more]

If you can’t find love, remember there is always online dating. This is going to be a big day for Match.com because their union of Essence Atkins and Jamie Mendez lead to wedlock. If Essence Atkins can’t find a man, that means the dating scene is throwed. Essence saw Jaime’s profile last Valentine and was impressed with what she saw, decided to send him a note, and the rest is marital history. The two have been “inseparable” ever since, which explains why we have less pictures of Essence and Gabrielle Union dancing on bar tops together. Anyway the couple were married this past weekend at the Ambassador Mansion and Gardens in Pasadena, CA. Congratulations, and note to women, keep your options open.

The wedding took place at Irving Azoff’s home, a music industry vet and a longtime friend of the Kardashian family. Khloe, who wore a Vera Wang gown also had her bridesmaids adorned in Vera Wang. The maids of honor included sisters Kourtney and Kim as well as younger siblings Kylie and Kendall Jenner. Best friends Khadijah and Malika Haqq including actress Lauren London all stepped in as bridesmaids. Khloe was escorted down the aisle by step dad Bruce Jenner. VH1 2009 “Divas Live” Special

I didn’t care to check out this year’s special of Divas Live and I don’t believe I miss anything. But I did get my hands on some of the divas arriving to the event.

The event took place at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York and the list of divas included singers Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Leona Lewis, and Jordin Sparks. The event was hosted by former American Idol judge Paula Abdul.

I adore Jennifer Hudson but this outfit was a no no. I guess she’s a little self conscious after having a baby but I think her stylist could have done a much better job.

Jordan Sparks is really growing on me. She was the youngest to win American Idol at 17 years old and it is refreshing to see her coming into her own.

Leona Lewis always looks so relaxed and poised.

India Arie wasn’t apart of the line up but it was good to see her out and about. She’s been gone from the spotlight a little too long.Similar Posts:

It must be hard leaving a high profile relationship, just to be replaced with someone that was a stripper. That doesn’t mean being a reformed stripper is bad (no judgment passed), but I’m sure it’s a blow to any woman’s ego if it happens. Pictures of Kanye’s ex-fiance, Alexis Phifer, have been surfing the internet. In these pictures she does look like she’s struggling to find her style and life after Kanye West. I am going to take the other side and defend her. It’s hard to defend her because she is a “designer”, but this is her first appearance since Kanye, and it was brave of her to step into the limelight after such a high profile break-up. It just may take some more time, to get her swag back.

i dunno girl, she gets no pass from me. She left ‘Ye right when his mom dies, and his swag is just fine. She needs a clue!

Can you imagine trying to get over an ex, who was probably cheating on you with his new girlfriend. You just may have an attitude of I don’t care. Bobby Brown reveals more secrets about his life and his relationship with Whitney Houston for an upcoming episode of Behind The Music on VH1. In the interview, according to AOL Blackvoices, Bobby Brown talks about his tumultuous marriage to singer Whitney Houston:

I think we corrupted each other. I don’t think she hurt me or I hurt her in any way. I just think we had a 14-year marriage that had its ups and downs, and not many people understood it.

Brown also reveals the reason he abused drugs and alcohol:

I used an awful lot, can’ take that back! Cocaine, it’s a powerful drug.I just think I was bored. I had just gotten married, and things [weren't] right and I turned to alcohol and drugs.

The most shocking thing in the interview was learning that he had a past relationship with Janet Jackson, and that relationship also lead to him drinking to cope:

Before I met Janet [Jackson], I would never drink hard liquor, I only drank beer. But after our break up, I started drinking hard liquor abundantly. I took the way our relationship ended very hard. Not to say we were head over heels in love, but she was someone I had a lot of feelings for.

Besides, we were young and naive. I was only about 19 or 20 years old. Young love is no joke!

Janet is right, she has been fortunate that many of the people she dated didn’t tell her business. She has been linked to a lot of men in the industry and that hasn’t even discussed their relationship with Janet. [Source]

Complex Magazine releases more pictures of Amber Rose (via Eric D. Wills) during a recent photo shoot. Is Amber Rose my new girl crush, too? I need Meagan Good to step up her game, because this woman is competing for my love. I’m just kidding, I have one crush, and that’s my husband. Oh! I almost forgot, There is a video, too.

I was always a huge fan of him, like who isn’t? But he had a fiancée, it wasn’t like, “Ah, I’m gonna get with Kanye!” When I met him, it was strictly business. He wanted me for his “Robocop” video and he had the utmost respect for me, and we hung out on a friendship/business type of deal. You know, just as normal human beings when you hang out with somebody, you start to like them. Kanye knew my life, so when the blogs came out like, “Oh, Kanye do you know she was a stripper, that she used to date girls?” Kanye was like, “Tell me something I don’t know.” Everybody has a life and a past…

Well, my intentions when I met Kanye was to do his video, keep it very professional and we really started to like each other. It just so happened that he started liking me and I started liking him. It’s not a publicity stunt, it’s just human beings, man. I love Kanye as a person, he’s a great person, he’s super-talented. I love him for a lot of different reasons.
