Beyonce, Solange, and their cousin Angie Beyince, celebrated Kelly Rowland’s 33rd birthday with a small celebration. The party was very intimate and included the tight-knit circle of family. Beyonce shared a few candid moments from the party with the caption, “Happy Birthday Sis!”
I love seeing these two together; it warms my heart. Anyway check out more pictures from Kelly Rowland’s gold-themed birthday party with her H-Town family:
For the past two weeks everyone has been going crazy and looking for the sign up sheet to go face to face with George Zimmerman in the boxing ring. Reportedly George Zimmerman wanted to personally fight Kanye West for whatever reason, and Kanye hadn’t responded as he shouldn’t. Nonetheless, other rappers who have been very vocal about wanting to jump in the ring with Zimmerman is rapper The Game. Recently he called into TMZ and told them that he had contacted celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman about jumping in the ring. Feldman responded by saying there were still a few others he had to consider, and it turns out that DMX was picked out of 15,000 applicants. DMX told TMZ:
I am going to beat the living f**k out him … I am breaking every rule in boxing to make sure I f**k him right up
Apparently Zimmerman has been training extremely hard, but we all know DMX’s past so he should be able to keep his word. The location and date of the fight will be announced next week at a press conference on February 12th.
What are your thoughts on this boxing match?

Last night Superbowl XLVIII took place in New Jersey and the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos battled it out on the field in what seemed to be an easy game for Seattle as the final score was 43-8. Before Seattle took home the first ever Superbowl win in their franchise history, Bruno Mars definitely stepped up to the plate when it came to filling Beyonce’s shoes after last years halftime show. Now Bruno is no Beyonce, but he definitely shows out and proves how great of a performer he is. Performing his hits “Locked Out of Heaven”, “Treasure”, “Runaway Baby” and “Just The Way You Are” Bruno Mars puts his amazing vocals on display. However, before Bruno ended his performance, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers made a surprise appearance as they performed “Give It Away”. Overall it was an amazing performance to watch.

The web has been going crazy since rumors of The Carters performing at this years Grammy Awards have been confirmed to be true. Apparently CBS released a commercial confirming some of the performers for this years award show and among the list of the performers the power couple was mentioned. Since then the commercial has been removed, but there are multiple sites stating that Jay-Z and Beyonce are expected to open up the show. Not to mention that Jay-Z is nominated for nine Grammy’s and Beyonce’s new album recently went platnium after it’s surprised release date.
It seems like the couple will definitely be present at this year’s award show, not quite sure whether or not they will open up the show, but I definitely will be watching. I’m secretly hoping that Blue Ivy just happens to be apart of their performance in some way.
The 56th Grammy Award Show airs this Sunday January 26th on CBS.
By now it is no secret that 2014 is the year of return for legendary rap duo Outkast. Since the start of the new year the group has confirmed their comeback performance at this year’s Coachella Music & Arts Festival that takes place in April. The group will be one of the headliners for the festival, their performance goes down on April 11th & 18th. Aside from Coachella the group will also headline the Governors Ball Festival in NYC this upcoming June. On the groups Twitter account the group promised to deliver a full festival run of 40 dates in celebration of 20 years. There are rumors of a possible new album from the group, but nothing has officially been confirmed by either Big Boi or Andre 3000.
Nonetheless, the group is definitely making a strong comeback this year after a seven year hiatus and I am definitely excited.

Black Hollywood may have been shut out at the Golden Globe awards this past weekend, but they continue to put out movies. Last night, the premiere for Ice Cube and Kevin Hart‘s new action comedy movie Ride Along took place in Los Angeles. Of course the stars bought their significant others along: Ice Cube and wife Kimberly Woodruff attended & Kevin and his girlfriend Eniko Parrish looked black-tie sharp. But other stars showed up for support as well.
Boris Kodjoe, Michael Ealy, Niecy Nash, Nick Cannon, Tiki Sumpter, Keri Hilson and even Martin Lawrence all came out on the red carpet. Check out the pics, when you continue…
