UPDATE: This post was written just shortly before we found out Whitney Houston has dies. These are the last public moments of the singer, and unfortunately they were not good publicity moments. RIP Whitney Houston! I really hope there’s peace…

First let me give props to iLuLu Online for having the courage to post this story, while fighting the Whitney stans on twitter…

Whitney Houston attended Kelly Price’s Pre-Grammy party, and decided to get on stage to sing a special version of Jesus Love Me to Kelly Price. When I saw the video my first thought was, and I am being honest, “I hope Whitney is not back on that stuff!” An hour later, I saw this picture below, and I was wondering aloud, “Why does Whitney Houston look as though she’d just been in a fight?”

Well it turns out that Whitney was fighting X factor contestant, Stacy Francis, over Ray J in the club. Yes, a cougar on cougar smack down of words over Brandy’s little brother Ray J. Sadly, Stacy Francis wasn’t even checking for Ray J, she was just saying hello because she’d known Ray J for awhile,  but Whitney wasn’t trying to hear that.  Details when you continue…

Obviously, this is not a laughing matter and Whitney Houston needs help. There are too many people in denial around her. It may not be crack drugs, but you can’t tell me…that this is normal behavior for a grown woman:

According to a source, after Francis performed an Etta James tribute and Houston joined Price on stage, the two were reintroduced in the VIP section. “It didn’t seem like Whitney remembered her, but she was cordial at first.”

The scene changed minutes later when R&B star Ray J, who Francis had met over the years, stepped into the conversation. “Whitney just got belligerent,” an eyewitness tells The Hollywood Reporter. “Ray was trying to defend Stacy, telling Whitney, ‘Stacy’s family!’, but Whitney was feeling crowded out and hands were raised.”

Fortunately, the situation was diffused without any punches thrown, but says the source, “You didn’t know which way it could go there for a minute.”

When contacted by THR, Francis didn’t deny that the incident happened, but would only say, “I have the utmost respect for Whitney Houston and her talent.” {via The Hollywood Reporter}

I want to see more pictures of Beyonce post-baby like the one below, and I want to eventually see pictures of the beautiful Blue Ivy. The main people hating on the Knowles or the same people flocking to the internet to see more pics. *scratches head*

It seems like Beyonce has done everything right, and for some reason that’s so hard for people to love. I read an interesting article on Huffington Post by Rev Michael Water, about Jay-Z and Beyonce and how they have re-established the traditional family unit in the hip-hop culture. I’m scared that all of this negative baby-bumper talk is just another way to tear down the black family.  I understood the outrage with Alicia Keys and Fantasia because families were broken apart, but in this situation, Jay-Z and Beyonce are creating a family with both a mother and father together in matrimony, without cheating on or tearing apart another black family.  So why are you so mad?

Honestly, I hoped that my generation, the hip-hop generation (or Generation X), deeply scarred by the absence of their own fathers, would not repeat their fathers’ mistakes. Increasingly, I see my hopes dashed. As a pastor, I recently came to the grim recognition that of the last fifteen children that I have baptized, only four times was the father present to participate in the celebration of the sacrament. Of those fathers present, only one father was married to the woman with whom the child was conceived at the time of the baptism. And for me, it appears as if the trend of fatherless baptisms will continue in the near future.

Today, many families are “redefined” at the very point of conception as marriage is no longer considered a prerequisite towards beginning a family. I applaud Jay-Z and Beyonce for accomplishing what many in my generation have failed to do, breaking the cycle of absenteeism established by their parents’ generation. {Read the rest at Huffington Post}

According to Nia, she loaned Jennifer Williams keys to her house and is upset that Jennifer hasn’t returned them. Why would anyone give their “boss” a set of  keys to their house? Sounds like scripted television to me, just like Gloria meeting Draya in “acting class”. Why would anyone file a police report instead of changing their locks ? Police reports now equal free publicity on TMZ. Why would anyone work for Evelyn as an “assistant”? That’s like working for Naomi Campbell or Foxy Brown.

The assistant — Nia Crooks (right) — filed a theft report against Jennifer Monday with the Hallandale Police Department, claiming JW is refusing to return the house keys Nia loaned her two months ago … back when they were still friends.

According to sources, Jennifer has been making thinly-veiled threats to Nia since the racetrack scuffle — things like “watch your back” — and Nia doesn’t feel comfortable with Jennifer having a key to her house.

Pilar has filed an emergency motion in a Texas courtroom … claiming the NFL legend has canceled her credit cards and left her without any financial means to support herself and their children … and she needs the judge to force Deion to give her money so she can survive.

In the docs, Pilar claims, “Since [Deion] filed for divorce on December 21, 2011, he has given [Pilar] $300.00 and offered her money in exchange for sexual favors.”

Deion Sanders says his estranged wife is straight up LYING … telling friends he NEVER offered her cash for sexual favors … and insists Pilar is simply trying to extort him for millions.

Sources close to Deion tell us the accusations are entirely untrue … and claim the NFL legend recently sent her a cashier’s check for $10,000 … which Pilar REJECTED.

Pilar’s lawyer, Larry Friedman, tells us she refused to accept the money because Deion presented the check as a “partial payment” towards the prenup … a prenup she believes is invalid.

We’re told Pilar was only promised $1,000,000 in the prenup … but Friedman believes she’s entitled to MILLIONS more … saying, “The offer does not reflect the assets in the estate and does not account for the time, effort, devotion, and faithfulness Pilar has invested in the marriage.”

A close adviser to Deion tells us … “Pilar has continued to make false statements in an attempt to extort additional money, in spite of the generous pre-nup that she voluntarily signed. No, I dated black guys in high school and stuff. I’ve always had a little thing for black guys. I really don’t know what it is, but I think it runs in my family. My dad likes black women. And this is the best part, he was going to come with my family, because I was going to Anguilla, to go to Christmas vacation, and I go someplace every year with some of my family. He had met my family in Newark–he would come to see a lot of shows, and he would come and meet me a lot of places.

It was so dumb. it’s almost embarrassing. I really can’t remember the exact the details, but I’ll tell you what I can remember. I think one of his ex-girlfriends was coming on my show and she’s one of those singers -I can’t remember her name. She’s really hot. He was dating her I guess previous to me.

Right before Anguilla, Ciara–that’s her name!–was coming on the show, and he called me to tell me something about her like she still calls him all the time, and she still tells him that she loves him or something. And I’m at my job, and I go “Curtis, honestly this is like eighth grade sh*t. Why are you telling me this?  This girl is coming on the show tomorrow, and now I have to look at her and think you guys have some weird thing going on or had going on.”  It was so juvenile. I’m at my work and I work my ass off all the time, and I have million different things and even though it’s not like important work, I am working hard. I’m doing sh*t. He said, “I want you to hear this conversation” and he was like calling someone like a 3-way phone call. I go, “So you’re telling me this girl wants to get back together with you, but she’s upset that you’re dating me, is that what you’re saying?” He’s like, “Yeah, so I just want you to know when she comes.”

I think I called him the worst thing you could say to a black person short of calling him the N-word. I said something like you’re like a street person basically. Rihanna and Chris Brown partied at the same club last night, fueling growing rumors they’re back together. The two singers left Greystone Manor — a West Hollywood club — separately, but they were both definitely there at the same time. {TMZ}

I guess LA is really small because these two keep going to the same places, but not actually crossing paths. Rihanna and Chris Brown are both scheduled to attend at the Grammys, and I think all of this publicity is leading up to their first public re-union. Chris Brown’s and Rihanna’s publicists were both asked about their secret love affair, and this is what their publicists had to say about those rumors:

Chris Rep tells ABC News, “He and Rihanna are just friends. He is with his girlfriend, Karrueche, and is not cheating.”

While Rihanna’s rep declined to comment on the issue. *side-eye* Anyway, according to eye witnesses, the two were spotted at club, Greystone Manor, but they did not interact, and Karrueche, was riding shot-gun with Breezy. I guess, LA is just a small place after all, or someone is being messy:

Chris, 22, was seen leaving the club through the front door, getting into his Range Rover with a group of friends, while Rihanna, 23, left through a side door hopping into a waiting SUV with a bodyguard.

Publicly, they are getting closer and closer. It’s just a matter of time before their teams prepare for this re-union publicity wave. Hopefully it all happens before the Grammys in February, but if not, we will be watching the awards show to see how the cameraman pan the audience.

Sean “Diddy” Combs was headed to LA for the Golden Globes weekend with a female companion but discovered his flight had only one first-class seat for him. Rather than ditch his date in steerage, Diddy gave his bodyguard the premium seat and downgraded himself so he could fly next to his gal pal in business class. “They were snuggling under a blanket,” said a spy. The insider says Diddy and Diaz did not seem to arrive together. Diddy apparently got there solo, says our source, and after being warmly swarmed by Paris, Nicky and Kathy Hilton and posing for photos with them, headed to an elevated back room in a tent pitched in the bar’s parking lot.

There, Diddy found Diaz sitting on a couch “talking to a guy,” says the source.

“Let’s go,” Diddy told the “Bad Teacher” actress, who our source says quickly got up to follow him out a back exit where celebrities could call their cars, away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi.

Before Diaz and Diddy could make their getaway, however, our source says they ran into three male party guests who wanted their pictures taken with Diaz.

She happily obliged, says our source, until an impatient Diddy grabbed her hand, said “Let’s go” again, and pulled her to a waiting car.

So Kim Kardashian and her mother reportedly went on a vacation in Dubai back in October before Kim’s divorce. During the Dubai vacation, Kim revealed to her mother, Kris Jenner, that she and Kris Humphries were having marital problems. Sounds harmless, right? The only problem is that none of it actually happened in real life, but in a movie studio, not in Dubai but LA, and not in October before the divorce, but in December months after the divorce. The photos you’re seeing above of Kim and pimpmomager Kris Jenner were taken on December 6, 2011. The photo agency which snapped the pics stated Kim and Kris were leaving a studio in Los Angeles.

Does Kim outfit look familiar? It should because Kim is sporting the same exact outfit, same hairstyle and same makeup as she did in a scene that aired on KKTNY last Sunday which according to E! was filmed in Dubai… in October… weeks before Kim pulled the plug on her marriage.

In the scene, Kim tries to garner sympathy appear remorseful as she tells her mom she is having marital issues with hubby Kris. There’s only one problem folks: Kim filed for divorce on October 31 and it appears that “Dubai” scene was actually taped in Los Angeles on Dec. 6. Still having doubts? Well, feel free to check out the outfit Kris’ assistant is carrying behind her. Ding ding ding! It’s the SAME “Dubai” outfit plus Kris is still wearing the same earrings.

Wowzers. So this proves the Kardashians’ shows are as phony as the Kardashians. Furthermore, Kim and Kris actually filmed this scene last month to not only try to fool their audience, but to also try to make Kim a victim. Unfortunately for Kris Humphries, he didn’t get a chance to go back and film phony scenes to help his image. But WAIT!!!! Now we know why Kris Humphries wants the marriage annulled, and why he sent the tweet with hashtag #FCC. The FCC is in charge of regulating Cable and TV, and Kris Humphries knew something wasn’t right on Kim’s “reality” show.  Kim Kardashian and her mom, Kris, went through all of this just to make Kim Kardashian look good. If it was a real marriage, why create fake scenes to explain the divorce? Why create fake scenes to save Kim’s image? Why create fake scenes on a reality show? Why am I calling it fake, what’s up with all of the LIES???

Lenox Hill constructed the room just in time for Beyonce’s birth.  More pics, plus room details when you continue:

Lenox Hill Hospital constructed a suite for VIPs which looks like a Four Seasons penthouse … and the room was christened Saturday when Beyonce gave birth.

TMZ has obtained photos of the room where Blue Ivy came into this world, and it’s baller.  There are 4 flat screen TV’s, state of the art electronics, a kitchenette, nice art, mahogany walls and plush furnishings.  And take a look at the bed where Jay Z got some shut eye!

Sources connected with the hospital tell TMZ … the suite was not constructed specifically for Beyonce, but it was always intended that Beyonce would be the first patient to use it. {Inside Beyonce’s Luxury Delivery Room}

I wonder: Where did regular people like Alicia Keys give birth, since this room is newly designed?

I really don’t know what I think because the picture above is really beautiful!!! I believe in breast feeding, after all I have two sons. BUT, I don’t know if I want to see other women on the subway, in Target, or at church breast out, even if it’s natural. It’s more like, I don’t want my sons to see women in public breast out, even if it’s natural. Too many questions I have to answer that I am not ready to answer just yet, about babies and the female anatomy. Isn’t that what shields are for?

But according Mama Guru at Black Celebrity Kids:

According to statistics, less than 40% of infants under six months of age are breastfed. This is low considering that breastfeeding is one of the most effective ways to ensure child health and survival.Over one million infants die prematurely every year due to lack of nutrients that can be found in breast milk. Children who are breastfed at 3 months are more healthy than those who are given formula at that age. Breastfeeding also establishes a bond between mother and child that is not feasible with bottle feeding.

Kudos to the Benet family for promoting breastfeeding!

That info changes things, maybe we should be more open! What are your thoughts???

Disclaimer: Obviously I am for breast feeding and I think this picture is beautiful. I am however trying to spark conversation on the topic and make it as balance as possible. With so many women defending breast-feeding as natural, why do only 40% of women choose to breast-feed??? Are only women who breast feed responding to the discussion? I would like to know why do so many women choose not to breast-feed…

Hello Hello Baby Blue!

We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012.

Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs, and it was the best experience of both of our lives.

We already know Blue Ivy will be the most spoiled kid on earth from listening to the lyrics of Glory. Let’s not forget all her  A-list God parents and play aunties like Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rihanna, Kelly Rowland, and Oprah. Speaking of Oprah, guess what the billionaire mogul sent to Blue Ivy to welcome her into the world:

The Insider has learned that the TV titan sent Beyonce and Jay-Z’s daughter a trunk full of children’s books. A gesture that likely stems from her multiple early education endeavors.
