I love Ellen DeGeneres. She seems like so much fun. And if this clip doesn’t prove it, then I don’t know what would. On Tuesday, Rihanna sat down on Ellen and talked about life, love and music. Of specific note was the conversation about Rihanna and her private parts, which Ellen referred to as ‘She’.
The last time Rihanna was on Ellen, she shared that her lack of a love live was not good for ‘Her’. So Ellen asked for an update on ‘Her’ status and let’s just say that things were different this time around. Check out the clip below:
Happy Friday folks! After a week such as this, we could all use a little cheering up, don’t you think? Today’s hilarious story comes via Newark, New Jersey mayor Cory Booker. If you’re on Twitter and you don’t follow this man, PLEASE rectify that right now! Cory is constantly tweeting with residents and non-residents, offering advice, encouragement and humor. During the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, Cory has been using Twitter to spread information and speak directly to the people of his city. And one particular Twitter user seemed to have a problem he felt only Cory Booker could solve…about a dwindling supply of hot pockets. Mayor Booker‘s response is CLASSIC.
LMAO!! Kudos for giving encouragement and providing some humor during such a time of distress! There’s no word on whether the hot pocket situation was resolved but I have a feeling it was.
Just by the names associated with this project alone, it sounds like it’s going to be one hell of a great show. At least I hope so. According to Deadline, CBS has picked up Queen Latifah‘s The Queen Latifah Show with plans on launching it in the fall of 2013. Queen La is an executive producer of the show, along with her friends Will and Jada Smith.
The Queen Latifah Show will feature celebrity interviews, human interest stories, comedy, pop culture and musical performances. It is expected to showcase Queen Latifah’s talents, blending comedy and music into her hosting duties.
It’s Friday! That’s reason enough to be happy! And why not kick off the weekend with some laughs? I don’t know about y’all but Key & Peele are HILARIOUS to me. Made up of the comedy duo of Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, they slang out skits and laughs on their Comedy Central series. My personal favorites are the Obama Translation skits — I’m sure if we could get into the mind of President Obama, he’s thinking those same things.
Today, I’d like to share a skit they did called Bone Thugs And Homeless. Key and Peele take on the persona of Bone Thugs And Harmony as they try to figure out how they ended up homeless. The harmonies they use are spot on, the makeup is on point and it DOES make you wonder about where Layzie Bone, Flesh-N-Bone, Wish Bone, Krazie Bone and Bizzy Bone are today. Check out the clip below:
Yesterday, a very proud Wyclef Jean tweeted about his birthday. He said he was feeling better at 43 years of age than at 26. And to prove it, he shared a picture of himself on a Ducati motorcycle. Wearing nothing but some small Speedo briefs. And an oiled up chest.
Yeah. Well…I WILL say that for 43 years old, his body DOES look good. But the reasoning behind sitting on a bike in micro shorts and a half oiled body? I have nothing for that. Well, once Twitter got a hold of the picture the photoshopping began. Check out this collage of Wyclef atop My Little Pony, Yoshi, dolphins and more, when you continue…
Happy Friday everyone! This is one of the Friday Funnies post that borders on the line between funny and truth. Or maybe it’s just a little of both. With the Presidental Election less than 40 days away, campaign efforts are stepping up. Even from people who have no affiliation with the campaigns directly. The Jewish Council For Education & Research has been campaigning for President Barack Obama for a while now. But recently they’ve stepped up their efforts by adding some star power to the mix: Samuel L. Jackson.
Samuel did a spoof on the book Go The Fuck To Sleep, which he did the audio reading for, and has recorded Wake The Fuck Up. It highlights what would happen (possibly) if Republican candidate Mitt Romney were to have his way. It’s both hilarious and enlightening. Peep the video below:
