Drake, I must admit, did a GREAT job as host of the 2014 ESPY Awards, in fact I think this year’s show was one of the best ESPY Awards to date. His opening jokes were funny, he finally got a kiss from Skylar Diggins, plus his skits created a buzz across social media one of which featured Chris Brown, and Blake Griffin.
Yes! The battle of the lights is finally over, Drake and Chris Brown have gone from bottle tossing beefs in the club to BFFs…And I Luv it.
Check out the skit below and watch as Blake Griffin and Chris Brown kidnap Drake to steal his hosting job at the ESPYs.
Normally I think celebrity kids are off limits, except when they dress as white batman at a very high profile wedding. Jada and Will Smith’s middle child, Jaden Smith, is back in the news, and not for his super hero costumes, but with a new hilarious twist. The little Confucius is notorious for posting vague, deeply or not so deeply philosophical tweets to his page. So someone came up with a new hilarious meme called #tweetlikejadensmith. I’m sorry y’all but this meme is hilarious.
Continue reading below for more #tweetlikejadensmith tweets…Is this wrong? I can’t stop laughing long enough to process it.
There have been several rumors soaring that Nick Cannon will be portraying Richard Pryor in an upcoming biopic. Nick has been adding fuel to the fire by throwing out hints that he is basically a shoe in for the role. Lee Daniels is set to direct the Richard Pryor biopic, and Weinstein Company is fully backing the project. They have named Eddie Murphy, Michael B. Jordan, and Marlon Wayans as choices to play Richard Pryor, and it has been reported that Marlon Wayans impressed the head honchos of Weinstein Company during his reading for the role.
Even though Nick Cannon has altered his appearance and has insinuated that he already had the leading role, the movie is not in production and no roles have been officially announced. Fans first started to notice Nick’s transformation when he appeared at this year’s BET Awards sporting a freshly blown out Afro and beard. After the show, he posted the following picture on his Instagram with the caption, “Now you get it.”
This week Drake made the announcement that he will be hosting this years Espy Awards, and it’s only right since he was named the global ambassator for the Toronto Raptors at the beginning of the season. After his announcement people took to social media to express their likes and dislikes of Drakes new hosting gig. Drake than went over to Jimmy Kimmel where he participated in a segment of “I Witness News” as the Fake Drake to hear random people’s thoughts about him. The video was extremely hilarious and it even looks like Drake made a new friend in the process.

If you have never heard of Bun B’s Rapper Coloring And Activity Book, you need to re-evaluate your life. Writer Shea Serrano teamed up with rapper Bun B to create an activity book that every child of hip-hop would cherish (check it out here). In his blog post today in the Dallas Observer, Shea gave us two pieces of valuable information: 1. He’s currently working on another book. And if the activity book is any indication, I’m ready to buy it NOW. 2. His children tried to help him with his work on this new book by drawing some pictures of famous rappers for him. Check out their rendition of OutKast below:
HEE. LARRY. US. Wait until you see their drawings of Notorious B.I.G. and Drake. If you’re anything like me, you’re stomach is going to hurt from laughter. Kids are hysterical! Check it out:
If you weren’t able to watch Drake on SNL, don’t worry, thanks to our friends at hulu, we have a few highlights to share with you from last night’s episode. I didn’t know for the life of me that Drake can do impressions. If it wasn’t for the height and color differences, I’d swear Drake was Kat Williams himself. Talk about spot on! Don’t believe me…just watch it.
Check out the skit when you continue…Oh, and he also does Lil Wayne well, too. I didn’t think he would be funny, but he definitely didn’t disappoint…
