Just saying, 50 Cent is like the “black widow” of men when it comes to women in the industry. Before you actually think that Kelly Rowland and 50 Cent are a couple, let me clear the rumors. Chris Brown has been busy promoting himself and taking care of some damage control in preparation of his new album, Grafitti. I mus admit I did not like the song “Transform Ya” at first; it reminded me of Beyonce’s Upgrade You, but now I can’t get the song stuck out of my head. Here are some photos taken of Whitney during her Good Morning America performance yesterday. The performance will air during GMA’s morning show tomorrow, today, September 2nd.
It’s so ironcic, because I was just saying how I haven’t seen her do any performance or promotion in support of the album prior to its release. She looked great, but unfortunately word is her performance was lacked. It is clear Whitney’s vocals aren’t the same but I’m glad she’s made a return to the music scene.
Jay Z and Beyonce were spotted at a press conference for the “Answer The Call” charity concert at Madison Square Garden yesterday August 31, 2009 in New York City.
Jay Z and Warner Music Group Executive Vice President Kevin Liles discussed how the release of Jay Z’s album The Blueprint 3 and concert, both being released and held on September 11th will benefit the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund.
Definitely a good look for Jay. He’s has grown so much as a business man and are looking for ways to help better his community and helping others.
I wish more musicians can take their platform and give back in ways beneficial to everyone not only themselves.
Last night in NYC, LeToya Luckett celebrated along with some celeb friends the release of her sophomore album Lady Love at club Cain. Two artists I was surprised to see there, Tank and Olivia! Where have they been?!

Whitney Houston listening party was a star filled event, and what else would we expect. The listening party was held last night in at the Allen Room in Manhattan’s Lincoln Center. Stars like Martha Stewart and Diane Sawyer came out to support. (Who knew Martha Stewart was a fan, I’m surprised Oprah and Gail wasn’t there.)
Whitney Houston looked amazing. Alicia Keys & Swizz Beat were there for support, but not together, as they both contributed to this project. Last, but not least her mother Cissy Houston who I’m sure prayed for this moment was there, as well. This is just a testimony that you can fall and fall hard, and in Whitney’s case really hard, but you can always get back-up.

Now I do not know a lot about Jeremih. Yes, I know his song, Birthday Sex all too well because my four year old son heard it once, and I almost passed out when I heard him singing the chorus. Don’t worry I taught him the words to “Our God Is An Awesome God.”
Anyway for those of us that are grown and married, Jeremih’s song is climbing the charts. Last night during the Grand Opening of Home Of Rhythm, Jeremih performed a few hits for the crowd in honor of his Def Jam Album Release.
Jeremih took the stage. Sounding even better live than he does on your radios, this new talent reminds fans of the time when artists could truly perform live without all the added influences of the music industry.
