I don’t know about you but it seems like Lifetime TV is becoming the new VH1, in terms of how many ratchet reality TV shows it’s coming up with. Their newest reality endeavor, which premiered last night, is Preachers’ Daughters. It follows the life of 3 preachers and their family, focusing on the teenage daughters. The Coleman family, out of Joliet, IL, is made up of Pastor Ken, wife Marie and daughter 18 year old Taylor. Taylor also has a half-sister named Kendra, who was kicked out of the household after she got pregnant at age 20.
In one of the clips from the show, Taylor confides in Kendra that she fantasies about the perceived freedom that porn stars have, saying that if her father wasn’t a pastor she considered that as a career. I have a feeling though that if she really wants to pursue that path, she’d do it whether her father was a pastor or not. But when they get back to the house, Kendra goes ahead and tells their parents, which causes hell to break loose. This show might be one to watch — I mean who doesn’t know a badass pastor’s child??
