Sad news! Actually this story is so sad that I am still in shock. Kansas City Chiefs Jovan Belcher kills his girlfriend, Kasandra Perkins, in front of his mother and his 3 month old child by shooting her NINE times after a heated argument. He then leaves the scene, pulls into the parking lot of the Chiefs stadium and shoots himself in front of the head coach, Chiefs’ personnel, and the police who were called to the scene. Prayers go up and out to her family, his family, and the KC Chiefs establishment.
According to friends and family, Kasandra Perkins was planning on leaving Belcher before things took a very ugly turn. Belcher was battling a lot of issues including concussions injuries from football, plus an addiction to alcohol and painkillers.
