I love Ellen DeGeneres. She seems like so much fun. And if this clip doesn’t prove it, then I don’t know what would. On Tuesday, Rihanna sat down on Ellen and talked about life, love and music. Of specific note was the conversation about Rihanna and her private parts, which Ellen referred to as ‘She’.

Random Celebrity Tweets: A Stunned Solange Knowles Gets Afro Pat-Down By TSA

As a natural hair chick myself, I can say that this has happened to me on more than one occasion. And my hair isn’t anywhere nearly as full as Solange Knowles but I think the tendency for natural hair Black women to be patted down is just a ticking time bomb. They’re gonna corner the wrong person and it’s gonna spring a huge backlash, at least in my opinion. But Solange took to her Twitter to talk about her hair receiving a pat-down by a TSA agent in Miami.

Solange did comply and it seemed that it really wasn’t too much of a bother, as she then started a game afterwards called “What did TSA find in Solange’s fro?”. Among a few of the funny responses were Romney’s 5 Point Plan, The Proud Family and a solider named T.O.N.Y. (which is a nod to one of her singles from her last album). Good to see she took it like a champ!

What’s Beef? Jay-Z Gets Called ‘Disrespectful’ By Actor Robert DeNiro

I can really imagine the tense feelings in the room on this one. According to The New York Post, legendary actor Robert DeNiro was really pissed off at Jay-Z while they both attended the birthday party for Leonardo DiCaprio a few nights ago. It seems that Robert called Jay-Z regarding a song he promised to do for the Tribeca Film Festival but Jay-Z never returned his calls. Yikes!

“Bob was sitting at a table, and when Jay-Z went over to say hello, De Niro told Jay that he never called him back,” a source says.

A spy then overheard De Niro complaining to the rapper, a fellow TriBeCa resident, about a song Jay-Z agreed to record for the Tribeca Film Festival. De Niro had reached out to discuss further details, but Jay never returned his calls.

“Bob wasn’t in any mood to make polite conversation,” the spy says. “He told Jay that if somebody calls you six times, you call them back. It doesn’t matter who you are, that is just rude.”

What’s even worse is that Beyonce was also there and came over to try and defuse the situation. Continue Reading →
