As much as rappers nowadays tend to talk about popping bottles, fast cars, women and living the fast life, they gotta remember that we all age and need to slow down. Rapper Lil Wayne may need to understand that message. Wayne suffered seizure-like symptoms during a flight, according to TMZ. His private jet was forced to make an emergency landing in Texas where he was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
All of this happened sometime Thursday afternoon. Apparently doctors said he was fine after a few hours of treatment in the hospital but it’s not known exactly what Wayne was suffering from. He checked himself out around 6 PM so hopefully it wasn’t too soon. Hopefully he’ll follow whatever doctors orders he received and keep himself healthy! He’s in his thirties now; gotta work on staying healthy more than before.
Katy Perry opens for President Obama at Doolittle Park in Las Vegas during a grassroots event for the Forward campaign. Ms Perry starts out on stage looking very presidential in this cute blue suit with her there’s-no-place-like-home-ruby slippers and gingham accents. But then…
Katy reveals her even cuter latex ballot dress. Wonder who she’s voting for? Let’s just say her dress matches her nails…More pics when you continue!
I have heard nothing but great things about Cloud Atlas. Trying to explain what this movie is about is very difficult. The best way is to explain Cloud Atlas is to compare it to a major piece of music with different movements, but instead of notes there are people that change, and instead of movements there are transitions through various decades through-out time. The New York Times has an interesting breakdown on what the film is about:
“Cloud Atlas” is a movie about migratory souls and wayward civilizations, loaded with soaring themes and flights of feeling, as vaporous and comprehensive as its title. Big ideas, or at least earnest intellectual conceits, crowd the screen along with suave digital effects and gaudy costumes…Which actor — most of them inhabit several roles, in some cases changing gender or skin color as well as costume, accent and hairstyle — tackles the widest range of characters?
I have to see this movie. I like Halle Berry, but I can’t say her acting has ever been stellar, IMHO, even when she won the Oscar for best actress in Monster Ball. However, her acting has evolved, and this may be the best role of her life as far as depth. I hear the acting is on point, and I am sure Tom Hanks brings out the best in every actor.
If you were around on Twitter yesterday, Donald Trump decided he had nothing to do and no one was paying attention to him. So he released a video on Twitter, pretty much challenging President Barack Obama to release his college transcripts and passport application. Donald said that if President Obama did that, he would donate $5 Million to a charity of his choice. He also said he had proof that President Obama fathered two children in Chicago with another woman named Michelle.
Yeah. I don’t know what ANY of that has to do with the other, but he pretty much needs to have an entire stadium full of seats because ain’t nobody got time for his Geritol filled antics. Last night President Obama appeared on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and talked briefly about the reason behind the hate coming from Donald Trump. See the full clip, when you continue…
Politics can bring out the nasty in people. I’m sure everyone has experienced this, especially during the current Presidential race. And apparently it’s no different for celebrities. Vivica Fox sat down in an interview with TheGrio and talked about her feelings regarding Stacey Dash and her recent endorsement of Republican candidate Mitt Romney.
I don’t know why she had to do a photo shoot in a Baywatch red swimsuit with the boobs and the whole flag behind her. And she doesn’t have a job or something to promote right now.
Catch the shade, y’all!! Just catch it!! Watch the full clip below:
