My my my. How childhood idols have aged.  I loved Lark Voorhies A.K.A. Lisa Turtle on Saved By The Bell. Always fashionable, smart and constantly pushing off the advances of poor Screech.  And during the years, Lark has appeared on red carpets and independent movies looking like a shell of her former self.  But according to People Magazine, her mother knows the reason why:  she suffers from Bipolar Disorder.

The former teen star, known to a generation of fans as the fashionable Lisa Turtle, denies anything is wrong, but after a bizarre Yahoo! video went viral earlier this year, some questioned whether drugs played a role. Voorhies adamantly denied it. Instead, her mother says, she has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
