I’m a blogger, so I would be lying if I said I didn’t know how to spin a story for more views. BUT, I don’t understand this hatred or need to take down Chris Brown by all means necessary. To the people in real media: Writing about Chris Brown getting a tattoo of Rihanna’s battered face on his neck is just beyond foul. I understand not liking Breezy for his actions against Rihanna, but I don’t understand making up new reasons to continue hating him. If you don’t like him, don’t buy his music, but please stop with the take-down pieces that has nothing to do with reality.
Just when you think you’ve seen it all…Here I am again, this time writing about a mother who thought it was a good idea to potty train her kids in public. I don’t mean she took the kids to the potty in a public place, I mean she took the potty inside a public place. Still doesn’t sound so bad until you see the picture below, and realize this woman pulled out the potty– in the middle of the restaurant– at the table so that her kids (not one but two) can poop and pee while eating at the table…with other people in the restaurant. The last thing any person eating in a restaurant wants to think about is two girls and cup.
*SHOUTS* It’s a restaurant!!! That mom is probably over-stressed and at her breaking point. Cause that’s just not sane.
Accountability. Something that gets lost in the fray, at times. This is a lesson we should all learn, especially those of us in influential positions. Nicki Minaj had to learn that the hard way, after appearing on the Mercy (Freestlye) remix on Lil Wayne‘s mix tape. The lyric in question went like this:
”I’m a Republican voting for Mitt Romney / You lazy b—-es is f—ing up the economy.”
Yeah. After that, there was an anti-Nicki Twitter movement with people boycotting her and her music because of her “admitted” Republican stand point. President Obama admitted he didn’t understand if Nicki was using one of alters or not, but he did throw a little shade when he said, Sasha and Malia don’t listen to Nicki Minaj that much…After President Obama’s comments, Nicki spoke out on Twitter directly to President Obama to address the lyrics herself: Continue Reading →
I know Usher has been with Grace Miguel for a minute, well actually since he’s been married to, well actually while he was still married to Tameka Raymond. I understand the need to move on, and finally get your life back on track, after all it’s been two years. BUT family pictures with the “mistress” (let’s call that thing a thing *in my Iyanla voice*)…I mean the “other woman”, just after a custody win…too soon. Almost looks as if Usher is not only insensitive, but gloating. Again, that may not be the case, but too soon, Usher, too soon.
Why did the song Let It Burn just pop in my head O_0. I have no sense…more pics when you continue reading… Continue Reading →
The great thing about America is that we ARE resilient. We will never forget the lives that were lost and the lives that were saved by the self-less acts of fellow Americans. In a few minutes President Obama will call for a moment of silence (8:46 ET). Just take the time to REMEMBER! #911
Above all, we must realize that no arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. It is a weapon our adversaries in today’s world do not have. -President Ronald Reagan
On every front there are clear answers out there that can make this country stronger, but we’re going to break through the fear and the frustration people are feeling. Our job is to make sure that even as we make progress, that we are also giving people a sense of hope and vision for the future. -President Barack Obama
