Coming to you direct from the world of “what the hell?”, boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. was released from the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas early this morning (which is where I am currently vacationing BTW…WIN!!). Floyd was released after serving two months of a three month sentence for a domestic battery charge. He was greeted outside by some family and friends…and rapper 50 Cent.
Yeah. I know. Kind of random. But ThisIs50 is reporting that 50 Cent is undertaking some kind of new promotional venture and has arranged to pretty much manage Floyd and his boxing career. I guess this is apart of keeping the client happy! Check out the video of release, when you continue…
I’ll admit to being a football fan. Not an avid one; I can’t spout statistics and haven’t been raised to be a fan of a certain team, but when football season starts, I WILL find myself happy to partake in football watching and food eating Sunday games. And I think the NFL has finally recognized that there are a lot of women out there who feel the way I do, and even ones who love the game with the same intensity as a lot of men. So they’ve finally decided to come up with a new line of NFL gear that’s specific towards women’s fashion, according to the Miami Herald.
Serena Williams will be featured in the ad campaign, along with Donald Trump‘s wife Melania Trump and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice modeling some of the new attire. And I have to admit, I AM digging the first shot that the NFL released of one of the tops. So what do you think, female football fans? Are you digging the concept of stylish female football wear or will you stick to the traditional clothes?
To be honest, I can’t say that I even recalled that he was married in the first place! But low and behold, the legendary Stevie Wonder has filed for divorce from his wife, Kai Morris. According to TMZ, Stevie has been separated from Kai since 2009 and cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the divorce.
In the docs, filed by disso-queen Laura Wasser, Wonder asks for joint custody of the couple’s two boys, ages 10 and 7.
In the docs, Wonder agrees to pay both spousal and child support.
Although Wonder amassed his fortune long before he tied the knot with Kai back in 2001, some assets will be split … though the papers indicate the amount has yet to be determined.
I think that with him even agreeing to pay for spousal and child support, that shows that it’s probably a fairly healthy situation between the two. No back and forth drama over money and what not. At least at the moment. And have you ever wondered what Stevie Wonder‘s signature looks like? Check it out below:
