Well, I want to be First Lady of the United States, now. Being First Lady has its privileges. Just Kidding! First Lady Michelle Obama got a chance to personally thank every one of the basketball players on Team USA with a hug, including Tyson Chandler. Finally married women be winning, too.
It’s so cute that all the players lined up to get a hug after LeBron James. Awwwwww! Check out the video when you continue…
As it seems the Jackson Family drama has come to an end, at least for now, with the return of Katherine Jackson, the discussions about the entire situation continue to go on. I know personally it seemed all out of the blue and extremely volatile within a short period of time. But a lot of people have spoken on the way Paris Jackson allegedly spoke to her aunt Janet Jackson. While visiting with the folks of CBS‘ The Talk, singer Gladys Knight had a few words to share about the whole ordeal.
Being in the spotlight herself, Gladys says she does understand the need to control Paris because, after all, she IS a Jackson and that family is one of the most famous of all celebrity families. They just can’t go around spilling all the tea without any filters. Gladys even steps it up a notch and lets everyone know that if it was HER household, Paris wouldn’t been talking back and cussing to her elders without some repercussions! Check out the clip below:
Many people in the LGBT community are calling for a boycott of Chick-Fil-A after the company publicly admitted they do not support marriage equality. Dan Cathy the CEO of Chick-Fil-A made the following statement regarding his stance on marriage:
Guilty as charged…We are very much supportive of the family — the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives.
Since making that statement, Dan Cathy has become a hot political topic, and the poster boy for anti-gay discrimination. According to various reports Cathy and Chick-Fil-A have donated over $2 Million to Christian organizations, some of which support traditional definition of marriage. In an age where everyone is judged by their associations out of context, it has been noted that some of these organization have participated in discriminatory practices against gays, such aversion therapy. Other groups have lobbied against marriage equality. One organization in particular has been linked to an extreme Christian hate group in Africa that believes gays should be stoned to death.
In the wee late hours of Sunday, when most people were getting ready for bed and pressing their clothes for Monday morning, Oprah Winfrey was on Twitter, snatching up the wig hairs of one tweeter who tried to come for her. Oh yes, he TRIED his best but Oprah read him his rights and sent him on his way in less than 140 characters. Check out the exchange:
“And you sir?” LMAOOOO!!! Well played, Oprah! While I see where the dude was coming from, Oprah basically says she can’t do it alone and we all need to do our part in helping each other. WELP!! Nothing left to see here folks! *Bangs gavel*
