According to reports, Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco have tied the knot. The ceremony took place on America’s Birthday (4th of July) in a lavish ceremony in St. Martin. So while you were eating ribs and watching fireworks with the family, Evelyn Lozada and Chad Johnson were busy saying, “I Do!” There are NOT a lot of pics from the wedding because Vh1 will air the ceremony in September for your viewing pleasure. Chad Johnson also tweeted throughout most of the day, including this infamous tweet below:
I don’t recall sending the butterflies in my stomach an invite.
More details about the venue drama leading up to the big day, when you continue…PLUS, find out which housewife didn’t attend the wedding…other than Jen & Royce???
George Zimmerman’s new bond is set at $1 million. Zimmerman was originally released on a $150,000 bond stemming from second degree murder charges from the death of Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman and his wife, Shellie, testified to having limited income. Therefore, the judge granted them a low bond of $150,000 ($15,000 in bail money). Prosecutors later found out during recorded jailhouse conversations that Zimmerman and his wife had access to over $135,000 at the time of the bond hearing. Zimmerman’s original bond was revoked for misleading the court about his financial standings. His wife, Shellie, is now facing charges of perjury for testifying that their income was limited under oath.
If there’s anything that I know in this world, one thing you don’t want to do is to make a mom mad. Actress Holly Robinson Peete spoke out against rapper 50 Cent yesterday when he insulted a fan, using autism as his weapon of choice. After a heckler hit up 50 on Twitter regarding no album release soon, 50 shot back by tweeting “i just saw your picture fool you look autistic”. Holly Robinson Peete, the mother of 15 year old autistic Rodney Peete Jr, immediately penned an open letter about 50‘s tweet.

Dear 50 Cent,
Since last night my twitter timeline is flooded with tweets and retweets about a response you posted to someone who insulted you. When I read it my heart sank. I thought maybe your account had been hacked. No such luck. Granted, his comment was completely out of line but your retort: “i just saw your picture fool you look autistic”- was so so disappointing. I mean, that’s your comeback?? And you didn’t stop there. You went on to joke about not wanting “special ed kids” on your timeline. Seriously, THIS is how you use your platform of 8 million plus followers??
This is as real as real can get and she’s actually not alone in her thought. I know plenty of people who think the same. Actress Nia Long sat down with Essence magazine and discussed her relationship with her boyfriend basketball star Ime Udoka and why she isn’t in a rush to get married, according to Daily Mail. Nia, who already has a 10 year old son and recently had a baby boy with Ime, is quite happy with their life as it is.
The Soul Food actress, 41, says she’s ‘never seen a marriage work’, although admittedly she hasn’t ruled it out.
Speaking to Essencemagazine, Nia – who also has 10-year-old son Massai with former boyfriend Massai Z Dorsey – said she’s been shocked to hear scrutiny about her relationship with Ime.
She explained: ‘I’ll be at home with my man, having a perfectly loving time, and I’ll see all these comments on some site about how wrong I am for not being married.’
As we all know, if you’re a celebrity, you’re held up to the highest of high standards. Usually by people who are living the very life they condemn. Strange and twisted world we live in. However, Nia is far from a poster child of bitter single parent…
