Talk about taking advantage of an opportunity. According to The New York Daily News, celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman has said an offer from billionaire soda bottling heir Alki David has offered to donate $1 million in charity in each of Chris Brown‘s and Drake‘s names if they agree to duke it out in the ring.
“Obviously they have a grudge. It’s just three 1-minute rounds. No one will get seriously hurt,” Feldman told the Daily News.
He said the pay-per-view event could be in Las Vegas or Los Angeles with a target date of Aug. 25.
Be honest. If Chris Brown and Drake agreed to this, how many of you would watch the fight? I know I probably would. Chris‘ reps have said that no one in his camp has even heard of the offer but that doesn’t mean it isn’t true. To capitalize on the situation even more, promoter Feldman wants to make the situation messy and even throw Rihanna into the mix…
This is a little out of nowhere but it damn sure is the truth! According to The Wrap, yesterday legendary producer Quincy Jones was a part of the launch of the new Spotify app, that features playlists created by artists. The playlists, which were rolled out today, was created to help users navigate through the 16 million + songs that Spotify hosts.
Spotify invited some of the artists who created playlists to the event, including Quincy and crooner Bruno Mars. During a Q & A from the audience, someone apparently asked a question which prompted Quincy to go into a discussion with Bruno on the importance of an artist learning their craft. I guess from there it kinda went down hill because before you know it, Quincy was taking a left hook-right hook-uppercut shot at P. Diddy:
I find it hard to believe that anyone couldn’t like President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. Even if you don’t agree with the President’s policies, just as people in general, they’re both awesome. Very charismatic, very loving and just genuinely good people. As a part of fundraising and connecting with the American public, President Barack has been offering up raffles to attend a dinner with himself and First Lady Michelle.
In this clip below, Barack and Michelle talk about their first date. Michelle lets us know exactly what caught her attention and Barack urges the men to take note of what he did. LOL I have to admit: He’s right fellas! Watch the clip:
News like this usually comes from a different source but apparently the people at ThisIs50 have the jump on this story. And I’m kind of suspicious of it. They are reporting that 50 Cent was injured in a car accident early this morning in Queens, NY, after his SUV was rear-ended by a Mack truck.
According to them, 50 was taken to a nearby Queens hospital for testing on his neck and back. Now it looks like maybe it was a fender bender and he went for testing out of precaution…and then got his people to report this “breaking news”…but maybe that’s just me. Check out more photos from the accident when you continue…
Tika Sumpter, Tyler Perry, Romeo Miller, and Chrisette Michelle all attend the New York Premiere of Madea’s Witness Protection, slated to hit theaters June 29th. This also marks the first time that Tyler Perry branches out with a more diverse cast, which includes Denise Richards, Doris Roberts, Tom Arnold and Eugene Levy, along with Romeo Miller, old favorites James Amos (the father from Good Times), and Marla Gibbs (Mary from 227 and Florence from The Jeffersons).
