Before President Obama fell in love with First Lady Michelle Obama he dated a few “other” girls, Alex McNear and Genevieve Cook. Through personal letters written by McNear, and a journal kept by Cook, we get another look at President Obama in his early years. I can tell you now, the affection he has for the FLOTUS is genuine, because the other girls were desperately searching for a deeper connection with the President, who often seemed kind, but distance and cold.
