If the cops would have just tried to do their job and stand-up for the true victim (Trayvon Martin) in this case, George Zimmerman would be in jail. With her roots in modeling with Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated, this must have been a long time in the making. Model Selita Ebanks has designed her own swimsuit line, according to the New York Daily News. Going by the name of Sass, Selita will debut the swimwear line on Wednesday, during BET‘s Rip The Runway show, which she’s also co-hosting.
Sass stands for “Selita’s Accessories, Shoes and Swimwear”. The swimwear line will launch first, with the other lines to follow. Shooting for a fall launch, Sass seems to be Selita‘s launching pad into fashion design:
“I wanted a name that covers all of my aspirations in the designing world,” Ebanks says. “Sass is basically the female version of swag.
“I wanted something that will empower women and let them know that their sass is untouchable,” she adds. “It takes a certain kind of women to have sass — very confident, sexy and independent.”
But will you be feeling this line? Selita says that this will be for the brave. Do you have what it takes? Check out what she has to say, when you continue…
