Ciara Takes A Shot At Acting In Broadway Based ‘Mama’

The celebrities of today understand that the way to keep your relevancy levels high and not get put on the back burner is to stay busy. Ciara tries her hand at acting by staring in the Broadway based movie Mama, I Want To Sing! Ciara plays Amara, a preacher’s daughter who is discovered and thrust into fame. Ciara will be starring along side big names like Lynn Whitfield, Hill Harper, Billy Zane and the legendary Patti Labelle.

On paper, this movie reminds me of the Sparkle remake. Singer with acting veteran’s and combine into a cinematic work. But they seem to be taking their time with Sparkle so if movie musicals and remakes is your thing, this might satisfy your senses. Friday Funnies: Key & Peele & Obama Loses Their S**t

Friday! Always a relief to see this day and personally, I try to get in as many laughs and good times as I can. Just to make up for working hard all week. Speaking of, have any of your seen the new show Key & Peele on Comedy Central? Comedians Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele are the latest to bring us a sketch comedy show, kind of taking up where The Chappelle Show left off. Sidenote: I DO miss that show. Dave, come back!

This comedic duo, formerly of Mad TV, have pretty much hit the Obama inpersonation on the head. So much so that they decided to do a sketch that we ALL can appreciate: The Obama Translator sketch. She recently launched a new Facebook group for the brand new The Ricki Lake Show. Ricki looks fabolous though. Ever since her recent stint on Season 13 of Dancing With The Stars, she’s been keeping her figure in tip top shape.

Man, The Ricki Lake Show was one of those near perfect talk shows on daytime TV back in the day. Just enough touch of hot mess to not be fully ignorant and just enough touch of classiness to actually make a difference.
