Tina Knowles is officially a single lady. It has taken nearly two years for Tina Knowles and Matthew Knowles to divorce; their 31-year-long union has finally ended. Tina Knowles first filed for divorce after Matthew Knowles was hit with a paternity suit claiming he fathered a child with Alexsandra Wright, outside his marriage. Turns out he did. However, both Tina Knowles and Matthew Knowles failed to make an appearance during the divorce proceeding in Texas, and the divorce stalled in court. In August of this year, 2011, Tina decided to follow through with the divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
Now many sources are reporting the couple divorced because of Matthew’s roaming eye, but I believe the final straw came, when
Normally, I don’t advocate for divorce, but when a man like Kobe Bryant, has no intentions on upholding his vows to God, then it’s time to serve him dem papers. Boy, that NBA lock-out has broken up a lot of relationships! Anyway, Vanessa is filing for divorce because Kobe Bryant is still cheating on her, and choking out young girls. Vanessa has finally had enough, according to close friends. The couple does NOT have a pre-nup in place, but Kobe Bryant is not contesting Vanessa’s request for spousal support.
Oh, and BTW, the divorce has nothing to do with Sanaa Lathan, although NY Daily News is reporting that Kobe Bryant and Sanaa Lathan were seen “flirting” with each other at the Jay-Z and Kanye West concert in LA. Don’t worthy, both Sanaa Lathan and Kobe Bryant have denied all of the following rumors:
What the bloody hell is THIS?? Sheree Whitfield has decided that the only way she can express her beef with NeNe Leakes is by song. *crickets* Is this what’s hot in the streets? Cuz I really don’t think so.
I HOPE this is only a one-time thing. Because I’d rather not have an entire album of 808 & Heartbreak-ish dramatics on “Nobody Cares, B” Records. NO THANKS. At least it’s only one minute and 42 seconds long. That’s all I can stand of ringtone beats, cries to “Google” her and weak singing. Check out the track, if you dare, after the jump brought to you by Straight From the A…
Sam Hurd, former receiver for Dallas Cowboys, and now a soon-to-be fired receiver of the Chicago Bears, was arrested Friday for trying to buy up to $750,000 in drugs on a weekly basis. Hurd just recently signed with the Chicago Bulls for a three year deal worth $5.15 million with a $1.35 million signing bonus up front. Obviously Sam Hurd was not happy with his NFL salary because the young man, known for his Christian beliefs, had a side job pushing weight across state lines. Teammates did not see this coming because Hurd was well known as a Christian who professed his faith, never showed signs of illegal activities, and always demonstrated strong moral convictions. Now, this young man is facing up to 40 years in jail, and $2 million in fines for trying to buy 1,000 pounds of marijuana at $450 a pound, and 10 kilos of cocaine at $25,000 per kilo from an undercover agent.
It’s a situation that you don’t, I don’t, want anybody to be in, especially a close friend, a teammate that I’ve been playing with now for 4 or 5 years,” fellow Bears wide receiver Roy Williams told the AP. “Especially a guy from Texas with a wife and a daughter. … I know it has to be tough for him because he has his family.
What is it about the Dallas Cowboys that keep players connected to drugs? I know Hurd was playing for the Chicago Bears when he was arrested, but he spent six years prior playing for Dallas before heading north to Chicago. More details on this crazy case when you continue. IDK, maybe the lock out earlier in the year scared the poor guy into a back-up plan. *shrugs*
VH1 will have their yearly VH1 Divas show, with a hodgepodge of singers, who I personally only count maybe half as officially in “diva” status. Look at the headlining “diva” lineup and let me know if I’m wrong: Mary J Blige, Jill Scott, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Florence + The Machine and Jessie J.
See what I mean? On paper, this sounds like it might be…interesting, to say the least. But VH1 may redeem themselves with the 2 big announcements: the artists will be backed on stage by incredibly awesome hip hop band The Roots and the show will include a tribute to Amy Winehouse. All great stuff! But the performers they’ve lined up?? Ummm…just see who’ll be doing what, after the jump…
