Gayle King To Wendy Williams: Cool Story, Bro.

You know, last week when I posted the story about Oprah Winfrey writing a letter to Wendy Williams to clear up the rumor that she and Gayle King weren’t the best of friends anymore, I thought to myself, Oprah watches Wendy?? Well. Seems like there might have been a damn good reason I felt that way. Gayle King called into the Tom Joyner Morning Show to pretty much say Wendy is a lie and the truth ain’t in her.

Last week Tom Joyner discussed the story on air with co-host Sybil Wilkes and comedian J. Anthony Brown. And who was listening? None other than Gayle herself.

While the “TJMS” crew was joking about the situation and, unbeknownst to them, repeating falsehoods, King told them she “almost fell off my treadmill listening to you all this morning. J. Anthony Brown has been drinking a big ol’ glass of haterade!”

In Case You Missed It: Beyonce 20/20 Interview With Katie Couric

In cased you missed it Friday Night, here is the 20/20 interview of Beyonce with Katie Couric. The interview with Katie Couric and Beyonce must have been only five minutes long, because the majority of the interview is Katie Couric narrating. Beyonce and her team probably told ABC you have 15 minutes, and don’t ask Beyonce about this, and don’t ask her about that. Honestly it’s a nice interview, but it’s not revealing at all. I don’t think Beyonce fans will learn anymore about Beyonce than what they’ve already known. IMO, Katie Couric’s interview with Lil Wayne was much better because we actually learned some new things about Lil Wayne.

But it is worth watching to see Beyonce’s reaction when Katie Couric touches her baby bump. For the record, I DID NOT like random people touching my baby bump either. That was so weird to me, random people rubbing my belly like I was a magical genie and something was going to pop out…People who like to rub random bumps are strange…really really strange!

Oprah & Tyler Perry In Dallas For “Red Tails” Movie Screening

Dallas is the place to hide if you’re a celebrity. You can sneak in, take care of business, and exit quietly with little to no publicity splash. Oprah, Tyler Perry, and the cast of Red Tails which includes Ne-Yo, Cuba Gooding Jr, Terrence Howard, and Nater Parker attend a special private screening of Red Tails at the AMC Theater – Northpark Center in Dallas, TX. Red Tails is a based on the story of the Tuskegee Airmen, an esteem group of black pilots from the US Army Air Corps fighting as American heroes in World War II, during a racially segregated period in our country. This movie focuses on the struggles the Tuskegee Airmen faced integrating the US army, plus their desire to help America win a war and stand up for the values professed in the Constitution.

Angela Simmons, Kimora Lee, Djimon Hounsou, Russell Simmons At ‘Change Begins Within’

Angela Simmons, Russell Simmons, Kimora Lee, and Djimon Hounsou attend the 3rd Annual “Change Begins Within” Benefit in Los Angeles hosted by the David Lynch Foundation. The Change Begins Within campaign teaches at risk kids stress reducing meditation techniques to reduce incidents of violence and increase focus in the classroom. O_0 The meditation reportedly works well!

Since then, nearly 150,000 inner-city students have begun utilizing these techniques to eliminate traumatic stress that undermines academic achievement and short-circuits lives. These students have dramatically better test scores, grades, and graduation rates while drop out rates, suspensions, and expulsions have greatly decreased. {Source}
